Stopped for lunch and it was quick and the food was good! Brisket plate with 2 sides (I had the green beans and the Italian pasta salad). Brisket was great, and you get a good portion. The green beans were good. The pasta salad had a ton of dressing on it making the pasta a little soggy. Wouldn't order the pasta again. Also had the brisket sandwich with 2 sides (green beans and cream corn). The cream corn was really good and would definitely recommend! The line can get long around lunch but they move quickly! read more

I've been coming to Partners BBQ in Kenedy, Tx for several years. They do south Texas BBQ proud. Their brisket is well seasoned and moist regardless which part of the brisket you like. The sausage they serve is locally made and is excellent quality. Just had the ribs today and I was not disappointed. Their BBQ is always consistent and their sides are fresh and delicious! The service is always friendly and they make you feel at home even if you're not a local. Thank you Vanessa for making this location such a inviting place to eat. The restaurant is casual and impeccably clean. I like this restaurant very much and will continue to visit. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

This place is awful. We've been here several times and ate their mediocre, lighter fluid flavored brisket, because to be honest there's basically nothing worth eating in the entire Karnes County. However, the last two times have sealed the deal and we will never go back. Last time, they were out of beans. What BBQ restaurant runs out of beans? One that doesn't know how to plan and prepare for the day. Even though that was frustrating, we decided to try again today because we were in KC around lunch time and needed to eat. We ordered our two plates and two drinks. When I went to get my tea, they were out. My son tried to get soda, and the machine was out of syrup. When I asked about more tea, the cashier said "we're not making more because we close in 30 minutes". It was 12:50. That's complete nonsense. Basically, they charged us for two drinks and we drank water. After the attitude I got when I asked about more tea, I didn't even bother asking for a refund because quite frankly I wasn't in the mood to have a loud argument. So beware. It's dog food at best and terrible service. read more

Partners BBQ - a plate of food on a tray - Barbeque Near Me - Karnes City, Texas

This place is very delicious. Went here on a Tuesday for lunch with some co-workers and it was great. Had the brisket and sausage, which were both perfect. Sausage has a unique flavor I had never had before and the brisket was moist and practically fell apart. The coleslaw was some of the best I've had and so was the potato salad. Pecan pie was good, but could've used more pecans. Tea is really good too. This place only serves until they run out of meat. So when we left at around 1PM they were already closed because the meat was gone. Still this place is definitely worth a visit. read more

Took a trip down south to Karnes City. Was hoping The Market BBQ was open, unfortunately not. Decided to try Partners BBQ. Very disappointing. Staff not friendly . Food OK but not great. Ordered a family plate that consisted of a pound of meat, two sides and a drink to eat in. I only received 2 slices of bread was charged extra for two more slices. Was not given extra plates so the others in my family could serve themselves. Was charged for tap water. read more

Really enjoyed this place. The Q was tender and tasty, and the sausage was just about perfect. Friendly staff too.

Generous portions and all freshly made. I had slaw and green beans. Chicken was moist I dont like sytrofoam... my only negative comment read more

Hands down some of the best brisket I've ever had. It so tender, and juicy that it literally cuts like butter even using a plastic knife. When in town I have to hit the place up. read more

Partners BBQ - pork, beans, pickles, and a sandwich - Barbeque Near Me - Karnes City, Texas

Finally decided to stop here after passing it for the last 2-3 years. Boy was I missing out! The brisket is definitely top 3. It is tender and pretty delicious. It's so soft I can cut it with a plastic fork. The potato salad was really good, as well as the coleslaw. Inside the restaurant it is very well kept. Nice tables and nice decor. Got the regular plate with brisket extra lean and 2 sides. $10.83 not too bad. The quality is worth it. Swing on by and get you some! read more

Off the hook brisket and sides... Inexpensive for lunch...Laid back atmosphere... Highly recommend stopping here...

While traveling wanted a lunch stop and yelp came thru again. Grab a chopped barbecue on a bun with a side of potato salad and a slice of pecan pie. This was some good -good eating. Melt in your mouth good and the flavor was a 10 hands down. The potato salad was creamy and flavorful (Yass - slaps mama)and I can't leave you wondering about the pecan pie- I should have bought a whole pie. This is worth a visit! read more

Great barbecue in Karnes City. Brisket is really good as well as their sauce. Sausage, ribs, and chicken are just good.

Nice folks, nice restaurant, tender brisket, but mine was lacking any hint of smoke flavor

This has been our lunch stop the last couple of years when traveling down South, it's just a place that comes to mind when I'm hungry and on the road. I always leave feeling like I just had a really good lunch. I've tried just about everything and I can't find anything to complain about, it's just damn good BBQ! read more

Again a good Texas BBQ Place. Plenty of parking even for big trucks. I think they still have late night BYOB. Food is good and not that expensive. People are friendly. Just like you should expect from a place like this. The interior is nice with brands I the hard wood. Lots of places to sit picnic table style. read more

All I can say is "WOW"! Just stopped in on our way to Port A and had some Delicious small town BBQ! Brisket and sausage are both excellent! Ordered 4 different sides and there was not anything to complain about with this meal! Staff was also very friendly and welcoming. We WILL be back. read more

We had dinner at the Kenedy location tonight after a very trying day and the staff's hospitality and friendliness was welcoming. The food was exceptional. I had the sausage/brisket plate and the portions were generous. The sausage was top notch and have missed this type of sausage since 1976. Well done!!! Highly recommend. read more

Stopped by here on a whim and was very impressed. Brisket was tender, sides were amazing. Portion sizes large and excellent prices.

Got a sandwich at the Karnes City location to go; took two bites and threw it out the window pure fat; went to kenedy store got a pound of brisket to go was solid fat; took it back and showed it to them they said it would cost more to trim the fat; never go back read more

If you want barbecue but don't like smoke, this make be the place for you. The sausage was flavorful, but not smoky. The ribs were unseasoned, no smoke, but a good consistency. The brisket lacked bark and smoke flavor but was tender and moist. The staff was very friendly and the building was clean. We don't regret stopping here. read more

Fantastic food. Service is ok. My biggest complaint, they are not dependable with hours. You can show up at 1pm and they are closed.

Brisket and ribs were AWESOME! You know it's good when you don't have to add bbq sauce. Great job guys!

My Wife and I had dined at Partner's BBQ in the past and the food was excellent, but recently on March 11, 2019 we chose to dine again and the food was terrible, tasted like warmed over food. The brisket was nothing but fat and the sausage was not the sausage like before, it was old and I ordered the pound half sausage and brisket, got plenty of fatty brisket hidden under the slice of bread, and very few pieces of sausage. My Wife had brought to one of the prepares attention and all that was said is that they would leave a note to the manager. Besides all of this, I think that the servers should refrain from asking a customer if they would like to leave a tip, I just said no, however, there was another senior citizen customer whom she asked the same request for a tip and being is that my Wife & I sat close to the register, I was proud of what the senior citizen man told the lady to whom she asked the same question about the tip. The man specifically told her that he had barely enough to pay for the food let alone tipping her, besides he said you all should not be asking for a tip, if a customer wants to leave a tip he will do this on his own accord. Great, he spoke his word which I wish that I too would had. Needless to mention, the brisket was no good, and I dumped the terrible meat in a drinking cup to take with me and gave this to my dog. Well at least my dog enjoyed this. I will never return to restaurant. Oh by the way, the potato salad was nothing but mush read more
