Pros: No charge for admission. Beautiful and large scale sized park with a pond and waterfalls. Very clean. Highly recommend for a family day at the park. Extra activities are very reasonably priced (government operated) and definitely fun and worth doing. Zip-lining is available. Paddle boat rental is available for $50 MXP for half and hour or so. Plenty of shaded and picnic areas. Cool "Tarzan" park for the juniors. Skatepark available at no cost. Nice jogging trail. Conveniently on the same property as the Acuario Michin (aquarium which I reviewed and posted pictures on as well). Cons: They're closed on Mondays. The junior park can get overcrowded at times with children. Sometimes there's a minimal wait for the paddle boats (good so it doesn't overcrowd the lake/pond). A lot of options for playgrounds. Sight seeing is great, mainly ducks. We took the paddle boat for 80 pesos 30min, totally worth it.

This park is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. I'm used to parks in SF or Oakland, either being small, not well maintained, or both. This Park exceeded all of my expectations - there are fountains, a zip line, boats you can ride inside of the lake, a small waterfall you can walk under...all spectacular. If you're visiting and looking for a chill place to read of have a lunch outdoors, this is the park! read more
