Very poor access to a public park for anyone who isn't in perfect condition. They guard wasn't very nice about it and just walked away. (They have weird hours to see the birds and butterflies so check the website ahead of time.) Park has a walkway to cross the street, plenty of kids playing, playgrounds, paths, people jogging or walking, and even an event with schoolchildren being honored for something (my Spanish wasn't good enough to understand!) Its absolutely wonderful and a breath of fresh air in busy Guadalajara. It get very busy on the weekends, but its huge and worth the trip definitely. There are very large different section so you can find what you are looking for. There is an area with a pond for dogs, a big area with dirt jumps, privacy, people watching. Its huge so you can stroll or throw down a blanket and enjoy. I love this park!

This small garden/park is an iconic part of Chapultepec and Guadalajara as a whole. It appears to…read morebe very well cared for. It's quite small and really is just a nice green space to off-set all the concrete and buildings. It's also adjacent to the start of the Chapultepec corridor where you'll find a narrow area between the roads home to a wide variety of artisans and others selling their wares. Being that this is one of the few green spaces in the area, the grass is commonly used for pets. Unfortunately, there are very few waste bins and dog poo is left behind. Yuck! It is nice to see a little greenery, however. Especially deep in such a large concrete jungle.
