Bosque los Colomos is an oasis in Guadalajara. It's a large park with trails, ponds, a Japanese garden, etc. If you go, spend at least 2 hours walking through the park shaded by tall trees. Find the small Japanese garden and the "castle." Public art decorate the park throughout. Note that dogs are NOT allowed. read more

Beautiful forest. It was nice listening to the birds chirping and the squirrels being so playful. I'm glad we got to see the Japanese garden. It was small and well maintained. Seeing the coy fish swimming around and the ducks relaxing on the grass was so serene. read more

El bosque muy bonito, muchas ardillas y muy amigables, para tomar fotos y vídeos, fue una buena experiencia ver como se acercan a ti por comida, tratamos de no alimentarias pero van a tu mesa y no se van hasta que les compartes tu comida, por cierto no comen lechuga de mi ensalada que ordené en el pequeño restaurante dentro del bosque, les encanta el pan y las quesadillas!
