Victor really struggles for decent places but this place has a great location, view, authentic &…read morecool set up, warm and a great breakfast 7 days till 12 all year round. Tried for dinner and not as good but for a Monday night in mid winter in an area where good food is hard to come by I would still recommend it. Despite issues with the girl who served us the food was ok and compared to the hellhole hotel we ate at the night before it was great! The Anchor steam beer was great too!

The gentle, pleasant odour of the salty, splashing azure waters just over the other side of the bowls club gives that signature seaside getaway sense. The memories of the hunger for fish n chips, sand in between your toes and a light touch of sunburn come flooding back as we walk in the door. It's good to be back. Although this time, instead of fish and chips, we opted to share the tomahawk steak dinner special with tapas starters. Oh man, two of my most favouritest meal varieties in all the world, combined into one utterly decadent dinner treat for the senses! Between three adults and one child, we plowed through the delish tapas treats and the perfectly cooked steak with aplomb. Service was outstanding. Friendly, not too OTT, timely, discreet and open to questions/providing suggestions. By the end of the meal, I was well-fed, laughing heartily, wine-soaked like an upper-class pirate, and just about ready for a dip in the sea! It's not an obvious destination if you're in from out of state, but well worth a visit if you can find it.

Brilliant country pub food,…read more Steaks are huge, tender and cooked very well, Schnitzel's are awesome value and great quality, and their Sunday roasts are always something different and always very tasty The pub itself isn't much to look at both inside and out, but it has a homely feel, and is very well set out and much bigger on the inside than it first appears, Containing a kitchen, front bar, dining area, pokie machines and much more it's very well put together to make a nice place to eat The desserts are something else, very nice and huge servings, and did I say DEEP FRIED MARS BARS! Yes they make them, and they are absolutely awesome, Worth stopping by if you're in the area, and even if you're not. It's worth the drive

The Two Wells Tavern still has some country charm about it, but they have added a beer garden that makes you feel like you are still in the city. Okay, while the beer garden may look really new, the interior seems like it has changed little for the days that it was first built. They also have a bottle shop in the building so you can take some beer home after a couple of drinks at the bar. Okay, it is a little out of the city, but it still has a really nice charm about the place.

It is so refreshing. If you're not looking hard enough you would easily miss it. Walk in and it's like the prohibition era, from the grungy shelves to the dark, moody decor and booths to the sad music. It is easily one of the best themed cocktail bars in Adelaide. Drinks are fantastic. Some bars have expensive drinks for not much and they don't taste great. Not at Baddog, they are top notch and the barman does it right in front of you on the bar so you don't miss a thing. Brilliant. Best find of the year for me so far.

The waist coats, crystal glasses and twisted stainless steel and silver spoons all work to make this a top spot for a cocktail or cheeky beer. A maestro of the common and rare cocktails and a range of spirits you wont find in many bars Zack makes this bar. Sitting at the bar is mandatory for the first drink in my opinion then sneak off to the lux booths for quiet and intimate drinks. Its dark, has very cool décor and edgy clean bathrooms. Bad Dog Bar doesn't have tvs, doesn't have pokies and doesn't have tap beer and for goodness sakes never order an apple-tini :) and that's the way we like it. Top Tip: order the pickleback - rye bourbon shot followed by some freshly made pickle juice. The SMoking Joint cocktail is also a fav!
