She had dry erase boards with important information like 'don't get scammed, the IRS won't x, y, z.' And the info was all written in different colors. She also sent me home with my choice of wall calendar and a pen. Both had her business information on them, but I actually like that because I want all my friends to have the same great experience I had! All through out the appointment she was willing to make light conversation and had cute little ways of saying things like 'should I put this on ice' meaning she would wait on sending in my return. It just warmed my heart. I plan to return to Josephine next year. And she should to. I was informed of different ways that I could file: in person appointment, online with a tax preparer or online, independently, using their software. I chose to work with a tax preparer online. I made an appointment to receive a call from the preparer in order to get the ball rolling. Anthony Ambrose (same preparer from previous year) called at the appointed time. He confirmed that I would like to file online with him. He explained that all I needed to do was upload pictures of my paper work to him so that he could get started. During the tax prep process, I was able to log into my account from HR Block web site and check on my messages from Tony. I was also able to send messages and questions to him on this account. My husband and I had numerous questions and Tony patiently answered our questions. If he needed to research the answers, he got back with us quickly via phone calls. I would definitely recommend Tony at H & R Block (Broadway, Lancaster NY) because he genuinely seemed to care about providing good service.
