Campfire, Pb cup, sandy beach, and turtle cheesecake

So happy we found Parlor Doughnuts in Altoona! The best, most unique donuts you will ever have. We chose sandy beach, turtle cheesecake, pb cup, and campfire. It was so hard to choose-- they all looked amazing! The donuts are thick with layers of doughy-goodness! I also ordered an iced chai latte and it was also very good. There was a line, but it moved very quickly. We noticed they also had a drive thru if you are in a hurry. The employees were super friendly and happy to serve. If you're in the area looking for a sweet treat or a place to grab coffee check this place out!

Best doughnuts I've ever eaten. They are huge and so worth the price. There are tons of fun options and the inside is cute too.

The doughnuts were heavenly! The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helped navigate many choices. The natural lighting, and coffeehouse furniture, were perfect, and made for a welcoming atmosphere.

Really great addition to the neighborhood. An easy walk from mansion park. The donuts are decadent but I mostly come for the coffee! It's such cute spot that's bright. Lobby is open until 3 on weekdays. It switches to drive through only at 3. That part is a bummer! But otherwise good spot!

The donuts were incredible. The coffee as strong and fresh. If you're bar there stop in you won't regret it.

The raspberry pistachio was excellent - and the honey cold brew was a perfect way to start the day.

When the hostess asked me where I wanted to sit, I said someplace cooler. She did a great job of putting me under a ceiling fan. Kudos! My waitress was super helpful. I asked for her favorite cocktail -yes pressure- what she suggested was five stars. I may have ordered a second! The Mayfield sandwich was to have a mustard base. I did not taste that in the least. I asked for mayo which helped the sandwich. The onion rings were the best I had in a long time-yes, I ate them all. The service was great. Who I think mixed the drinks checked on me- that was nice. It was a good restaurant to stop at when in the area.

The new building is very nice inside, much better than their old place. We were greeted fairly quickly at the door, given our own silverware and menu and told to sit where we wanted. I did think in a nice looking restaurant like this they could have simply asked us where we wanted to sit and taken us to that area instead of relying on us for the set up. We brought wine as they are currently BYOB. We had to ask for a wine opener twice before getting one which didn't come to after our dinner was served. We ordered meals with salad which were suppose to come with pita bread. The waitress announced she forgot our bread with our salads and would bring with our main meal. Our main meals seemed to have some quality issues. My Gyro seemed like it needed more meat and cheese. My husbands meal with steak was very chewy. When my husband told the waitress he had an issue with his steak, she said, "it was chewy right?" It was very strange that they knew they were serving sub par steak, but choose to do so anyway. Overall I would say our experience was very disappointing especially considering others positive recommendations. Perhaps they are having growing pains in their new location. It didn't appear that anyone was "in charge" of the restaurant when we were there so perhaps having a more seasoned staff or owner on duty would help.
