Birch was the first to reply, within minutes of my request. They provided a quote and a phone number to call or book. I called the number and the person who answered was polite and knowledgeable to answer my questions. I could book someone to come the next day but I wasn't going to be home, so I scheduled someone the day after. They called the day before to make sure the appointment was still good. Someone would come out to our home from 1-5PM and at 12:45PM, the staff called me to see if it was still good to stop by and that he would be there in about 15 minutes. He arrived at that time and I showed him where I suspected the nest was. He looked and told me he would take care of it, and then come to our other door to let me know. All was good as he said I could pay via cash or cheque and if I wanted to pay by credit card, I could do so over the phone. He said if we still had an issue in 5-7 days to call their office and they would come back. The woman on the phone told me the same and she said the cost would be covered. The minor issue was regarding the amount but he was fine with charging me what I was quoted. I would definitely recommend them for any pest control problems. Of the 4 companies I contacted, they are the only ones that provided a timely response and a quote. One other replied to my message but only told me to call someone.

Ryan and Hunter were diligent in the work they performed to evict these feathered squatters. Working in 31 degree temperatures on a hot roof, they removed the nests (carefully extracting one so my grandson could take it back to the daycare to show his teachers and friends) they effectively sealed all the entrances that allowed small birds to enter. I hope I never have a repeat problem of little creatures taking up residence in the structures of my home, but if I do I will be calling Birch Fumigators! They were fantastic to deal with! I highly recommend them!

Dave is the real deal. He was the first bed bug dog handler in Western Canada, the second in…read moreCanada, he used to be an animal trainer for Universal Studios in San Diego. He's legit. No one likes to review for bed bug related incidents, but I had a scare. I called many places, and I liked Dave the best. If his dog finds anything, he will find either a bug/nymph/or egg as physical evidence that you have bed bugs. The bed bug dog industry is not regulated, and so, some dog may come to your home and give a false alarm, in which case they will spray the heck out of your place. I have health issues and did not want this situation to occur. Also, because he isn't related to any pest control company, he doesn't have an "incentive" to find bed bugs unless they truly exist. And if his dogs find bed bugs, Dave will prove it by actually finding physical evidence. Luckily, I had a false alarm, but this guy should be the first step to a bed bug search. For the initial assessment phase, I'd rather go to a pro then a bed bug inspector that also works for a pest control company and then get my place sprayed to death with chemicals through the "false alarm" of a dog that scents a bed bug but can't prove it through physical evidence.
