This company is so rude. I contacted them because the roads were closed for the Pittsburgh Marathon and they emailed me and said I had to prove the roads were closed. I emailed them two articles that were easily found online that proved the roads to my parking garage was closed since the Friday before my reservation on Sunday. No calls to inform me of this and their customer service is SO RUDE. Beware, they also charge you as soon as reservation is booked two months before the event. read more

Parking panda email me wife and state they will refund the charge, two months passed, did not see it.

Reserved and paid for a spot at 99 Golden Gate Avenue in San Francisco the day before for the theatre. When we got there, they were full and wouldn't take us. This caused us to hustle for another garage and be late to the theatre. Recommend you NEVER reserve this garage again. All he said was "we'll refund your money". Parking Panda did refund our money but the damage was done. read more

I would much rather drive into DC than take Metro, however, the parking makes it very hard to do so. So I was thrilled when I first learned about Parking Panda. I have used Parking Panda four times in the Washington, DC area and my sister used it once. Here are our experiences: 1. Went on a field trip and was meeting my daughter's class at the National Portrait Gallery. They gave me a good deal on a slot in a garage under a building that was across 9th Street NW from the gallery. It was noted the entrance was hard to find, but I had the photo of the entrance from PP and so only drove by it once. (That was ok, hard to drive and look for the entrance at the same time.) Went in the entrance and there was an attendant. She pointed out to me where I should park. When I left I just drove out. I'm thinking "Parking Panda is amazing!" 2. Went to a play at the National Theater and they gave me a slot in a garage around the corner. Drove in, found a space, went to eat dinner, went to the play, and left. Totally uneventful. I'm loving Parking Panda. 3. Went to a play at Ford's Theater and they gave me a slot in a garage under the E Street Cinema. That was a little tricky because they said to park in an unreserved spot and those spots are at the very beginning of the garage. I drove past and then had to drive back. Not their fault, I just missed it. When I took the elevator upstairs, I was in the lobby of the E Street Cinema. No big deal, just walked out the entrance, went to dinner, went to the play, came back and left. Other than initially missing a parking spot, totally uneventful. I am thinking I will always use Parking Panda in the city. 4. Went to a bridal shower at Meridian in Pentagon City. They gave me a slot under a nearby hotel. I was supposed to notify the attendant when I left. The attendants were parking people up in the valet parking outside by the hotel entrance. I told the attendant and he said to push the call button and he would lift the gate. Well, there were two call buttons. I kept pushing both. Nothing happened. We kept trying to call Parking Panda and the phone just rang and rang. I couldn't both stay at the gate and talk to the attendant. The areas are a ways from each other and on different floors! This parking space cost me $11, then my sister used her credit card to pay another $30 so we could get out after trying for 20 minutes. I asked PP for my money back. They said they had to see the receipt, since "we have had others parking in there today and no one else had a problem". (I saw this statement on other Yelp reviews - is this the standard line?) I felt like they were calling me a liar. I mean, the hotel's name is clearly marked, plus we had a photo of the entrance. This experience was VERY FRUSTRATING AND UPSETTING! I think a lot of you can imagine how it is to not be able to get out and the traffic is stacking up behind you. I'm starting to hate PP, but hoping this is just a one-time, unusual experience. (I did not read Yelp reviews first!) 5. We went to a graduation at GWU. My sister parked in the garage at 2400 Virginia Avenue. It is a 24/7 garage with an attendant. She could not get out with the QR code. She was able to get hold of PP on the phone (on a Saturday) and was told "We are showing you left 10 minutes ago." (REALLY???) She said, "I'm still behind the gate, trying to get out!" Finally PP was able to lift the gate remotely and let her out. Note, on this trip I used SpotHero. My paper ("Parking Pass") did not have a QR code, but since it is an attended garage, I just handed my Parking Pass to the attendant and I exited easily. Solutions for Parking Panda to Think About: (1) I used the QR Code once and it worked fine off of a piece of paper. However, in my sister's experience, plus that of others here on Yelp, it did not work. Parking Panda needs to fix this; or (2) I've used SpotHero twice with good results. They don't have the QR Code. Every time I've used them I've parked at an attended garage. This is something for you to consider. (3) The phone help line of Parking Panda really needs to be staffed 24/7 with live people who will answer the phone and help us. We want to use your service. But if you are not there to help us at the immediate moment we need help, what good are you? People understand there will be problems. But, as a service-type company, you need to make it right when it happens. I shouldn't have to come home and email you and then be told I am the only person with a problem. It is insulting. It would be better if you told me "I am sorry you had the problem and we will make it right." That would make me a loyal customer who would keep using your service. As it is now, I've switched to SpotHero. read more

I never knew you could reserve parking in Boston for the Red Sox game. I was coming down from Maine for a game, Googled it and was pleased to find I could. Now generally I'd rather put a sharp stick in my eye than drive to Boston - Maine is where I belong - but I was able to reserve the parking space on Parking Panda and all went smoothly. I made a reservation in Washington, DC NW at a parking garage that was only 3 blocks from my destitation and I only paid $3. I had no problems at the garage just had to show my reservation on my phone, get a ticket and park. Definitely takes away the stress of looking for parking. Awesome App! read more

I've used Parking Panda twice and both times it was an utter failure. The first time, I printed out my pass. The machine wouldn't read the QR code. I had to call customer service to be let into the garage and they admitted that the scanners have problems with the QR code. When I left the garage, the code wouldn't scan again, so I called customer service again. This time, no one answered. Luckily the attendant had seen this problem before and let me through, but not before a huge line of cars backed up behind me. The person behind me had the same issues. I emailed customer service and waited several days for a response. When they finally did respond, they promised to credit my account with a refund....which they never did. The second time, I needed to have my ticket validated by the attendant as the garage didn't have scanners. He did not validate my ticket properly and I still had to wait at the gate for the attendant and Parking Panda customer service to sort things out. This was for an event that had told attendees to use Parking Panda so every single car had issues getting out of a garage. Not only that, the garage rate was cheaper than what I had paid ahead. If I could give this experience a negative star rating, I would. This was an absolute nightmare. First, upon entering the garage, there was no parking panda kiosk. I was confused because I know that I entered the correct garage. So I took a ticket and decided I would talk to an attendant when I was leaving. Finding how to enter the garage to find my car and leave was an absolute NIGHTMARE. The lobby that I came through before had all doors locked. I tried to enter the same building through a different entrance, and another staircase from the same building that had a door from outside, but the doors to both were also locked. Then I went through another building that also said it had access to the garage. I tried to take the elevator, which only had buttons to lead to the garage floors. All of the buttons would light up and then turn off. The elevator would not move to any other floors. So I tried to find someone to help, but absolutely no one was in the building. At this point, I had taken 20 minutes to try to find a way into the garage. Finally, I decided to enter the garage from the car entrance. This took FOREVER because no cars were allowed to park on level A (reserved 24/7) or level B (residents only). I had to walk around the entire garage to get to the next floor. I found a stair case on level B and thought finally, I can get to my car on level C. When I went in the staircase, the doors on every parking level floor were LOCKED. I couldn't get out of the staircase. The only floor that was unlocked was on the street level, so I was back at step 1. Then I had to find my way back to the car entrance and walk all the way around to level C, which took me an extra 25 minutes. At this point, I refused to even go near the stair cases or elevators, understandably. After finding my car, I had to find the parking pay station, search for an attendant, and ask how to take care of it. Luckily he took the confirmation number as payment. I told him about my struggles with the elevator and stairs in a polite tone, suppressing my frustration because I understand that things happen. I used to work in customer service, so I have an understanding of outrageous customers and do my best to be easy to take care of. He told me that I probably didn't push hard enough to open the stair doors. I am a young, blond woman, so he was most likely making assumptions about my intelligence, but I KNOW HOW TO OPEN A DOOR, AND I TRIED FOR A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME. IT WAS LOCKED. I have gone twenty three years in my life and have never had trouble opening a door. He had no explanation for the elevators. I am smart enough not to argue with such a stubborn person, so I took a deep breath, and decided I would just give them an awful review because of my horrible experience. This was an absolutely AWFUL Parking Panda experience. I have never had anything this awful happen with this application, and have always recommended it to friends in the past. However, after this experience, I plan on NEVER using this application again, and making sure to tell my friends to steer away from it. For now on, I will always be using Uber or Lyft, where experiences like this have never happened to me. Also, considering there was a CONVENIENCE FEE, and this was the most INCONVENIENT experience of my entire life, I am completely LIVID. Lastly, this was at 4 pm on a Saturday. This was not at some crazy hour or anything. This garage should have had more attendants or people helping. And there were plenty of signs pointing to the Stairs and Elevators, but NONE OF THEM WORKED, as I explained earlier. Also, I was carrying 3 extremely heavy bags this whole time, and was sweating bullets by the time I finally found my car. I cannot stress how absolutely awful this was. Thank you for making me spend over an hour of my time and an incredible amount of stress to get to my car into a parking garage, Paz Parking Garage and Parking Panda. read more

If I could go to zero stars, I would. A more ineffective and incompetent organization would be hard to find. Prepaid for spots in Pittsburgh for NCAA. After arriving at seedy lot, I was told that there were no spots. I was sent to an alley where an individual (aka homeless person) was suppposed to find a different spot. Mr. homeless said, no spots here. Sent back to another place where second homeless guy and bouncer offered to take my key (and no doubt my car a little later). Called company and was directed to another lot miles away. 30 minutes later and after arguments with lot attendant, I am in my spot. But wait, in the evening, after reentering same lot as I was told to do, I could not get out of the lot after the game. Needed the help of two other kind souls (also stuck in Panda land) to unscrew the gate and help me make it home at 1 am. Company unreachable and I had children in the car for this experience. Also missed a good part of the event I paid to see. I intend to start a class action lawsuit. Feel free to join me. These are people collecting your money and providing no service. It is a scam and sham. There is a reason why Pandas are endangered -- you need to adapt to survive. read more

I recently used Parking Panda on a trip to Washington DC to visit the monuments. We found an indoor parking deck and paid what we thought was a good price for the location. Upon arriving we were very surprised to find that we had been charged more than double what the parking deck was charging for a full day. Very disappointed. read more

i would actually give this no stars, except for the fact that the lady who helped me on the phone was very courteous and tried to help. I would urge anyone who wants to use this service and signs up on line call the parking location first to verify that they in fact use Parking Panda. I set up what I thought was a marvelous, though expensive $21 parking space for an event at the San Antonio convention center. There were 2 locations listed on my computer printout - two different hotels with parking garages close by the center. Found out this was an error on Parking Panda. As I was already in my car, I took my chances and pulled into the one listed in large print at the top of my printout - they never heard of Parking Panda. So around the block I went in order to pull into the other hotel only to be told the same thing! I must have looked as frantic as I felt as the parking attendant let me park as a day guest. Because of traffic, I was 30 minutes in just going around the block, had my daughter and her 4 year old twins in the car. We ended up being 30 minutes late for our show rather than 30 minutes early. And, the parking was only $15, rather than the $21 charged by Parking Panda. Because of the children I had been willing to pay extra for the convenience I thought I'd have because of proximity and reserved parking. I am to get a refund from Parking Panda, but it is probably too soon for it to have posted to my account. i will definitely not recommend this service unless you are very certain of the location and their knowledge of Parking Panda! read more

TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL !! NO STARS !! I was at the Parking Panda at 1224 G street NW in Washington D.C. on Thursday March 19 with my wife and 3 little girls. 8 yrs, 6 yrs & 19 months. we went to visit some museums and its was a bad weather day with lots of rain. when we got to the parking garage, we saw the valet guys taking the parking tickets from well dressed - professional men and ladies and return with their cars. then the valets entered their office and we stood in front of their office waiting for someone to come out and assist us. we thought they went to get our keys. after about 5 minutes, i asked for some help and a guy came out and handed me my car keys and pointed towards where my car was parked and told me to get it. we were wet and not dressed like "professionals", and therefore were not worthy of the same treatment. I have never been so embarrassed in front of my wife and kids before. I will put this review on as many websites as i can find. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Reserved a parking spot late one night for the next day. I clicked on the show I was attending and asked to reserve a spot across from the theatre in Washington DC. Printed out my ticket and we were on our way when we realized that the ticket was actually for the previous day. Now, when I went on to reserve, it said it would give me a 24 hour slot from the time I was reserving, so that would have been from 10pm THROUGH the next day at 10 pm. But, like I said, my reservation was for the previous day...this makes no sense and is obviously a tech problem. When I called, the only solution was to have my money refunded, which they did. But it left me high and dry for parking. I would not use this service again since there seems to be some issue on the website. read more

However, they reached out to me to make sure it didn't happen to someone else in the future, offered me a full refund and gave me future credit. THE WORST. Yesterday, I purchased parking for $16 near a hotel in Chicago where my son and I were going to see a show. It was marked as "valet" on parking Panda and was at a restaurant. When we got there, we were told by the valet that they no longer worked with Parking Panda. We were also told that if we weren't eating there, he would not park our car. SO, with nowhere to park and 15 minutes until showtime, I pulled into the parking garage right next to the valet where they charged me $28. I saved the receipt. Today, I called Parking Panda and told them that a) they sold me parking that didn't exist so b) I was forced to go somewhere more expensive and that I expected a refund for $28 (the $16 they had already charged me, plus the additional $12 it cost me to park). The guy on the phone told me to scan in my receipt and email it. I did. It took me THREE email exchanges for the guy at support@parkingpanda to understand the problem. Seriously? It's not that complicated. Then, he said sorry but no - they can't refund more than I paid. I called the 800 number and the woman there actually said, "Can you explain to me why we should reimburse you more than you paid?" OMG. Can you explain to me why you sold me parking that didn't exist and put me in a situation where I had to pay a lot more or miss my show? It's $12. Not $200. Have you ever heard of customer service???? This is just bad, bad business. Worse, based on this review and many others i have not read, you cannot be at all confident that the parking places they sell actually exist. STAY AWAY. Go to Spot Hero, Park Whiz, Just Park...there are PLENTY of alternatives! read more

I used Parking Panda to reserve a parking space at the Capitol Skyline Hotel for the Nats NLDS game 2 on Saturday night. I arrived at the hotel 50 minutes prior to the game and was told my space was not available. Parking Panda says on its website that my space would be guaranteed as they won't sell more spaces then they have. The attendant couldn't have cared less that I had no idea where to find other parking and that I was a woman going to the game alone and would have to walk back to my car that now was sure to be parked far away. I ended up parking almost two miles away from the stadium and was worried about walking back to my car alone in the dark the whole time I was watching the game. I tried calling Parking Panda that night to help me find a space but was put on hold with their customer service for so long that I gave up. I also missed the first inning of the game as I had to find parking and walk to the stadium which took a lot longer than it should have. I will try to avoid using parking panda in the future as it is clear the space is not guaranteed despite what they say. read more

DO NOT USE PARKING PANDA IF YOU NEED A RESERVED SPACE! It's my first time writing a review on Yelp but I want to give potential customers warning. I have used Parking Panda twice for two separate marathon races. For those events, you know, a reserved space would be great. However, both of the times the lots were full despite their website saying "a guaranteed space waiting for you when you need it." When I gave a one star for my first use on their own review system, their staff contacted me and gave me refund and $10 credit saying "[w]e did have a standby location with extra space set aside just in case, so if you had called us while this was happening we would have been able to offer you an open parking spot in a garage around the corner. " With that in mind, expecting that if the reserved lot happens to be full, they would give us a space in such "standby location," I gave them another chance. This time, because the lot was full, I immediately called their service desk. The guy who I spoke to, immediately after he understood the situation, said "the amount has been refunded and there is nothing we can do - it's a responsibility of the lot's owner." Both of the lots I tried to use were unattended lots so I do not know anything about attended lots. But remember that they do not guarantee a space for you. I cannot believe that this business is still so popular. read more

These guys are GREAT! Was at Dragon Con in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend, and prepurchased parking at a garage for Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday I could not get to the garage because streets were closed for a parade. Had to park somewhere else. Called Parking Panda on the phone and they refunded my money immediately. The next day everything seemed to go well, but when I was leaving the garage (it was automated--no humans to be found) it made me pay again in order to get out (the code must not have scanned properly when I entered). Called Parking Panda, they asked me to send them a photo of the receipt that showed I'd paid to leave, I did, and within minutes I was notified that a full refund was on the way. Not only that, they put a $5 credit in my account "for my trouble!" NONE of these issues were their doing or their fault, but they made it right, no questions asked. I tried this service in Baltimore while I was attending a convention. The garage that the app sent me to via google maps was not the same address as stated in the app confirmation. I entered the garage and tried to scan my code and the scanner did not work. I called the company to ask if I was at the right garage and they said "yes this happens all the time, the scanner is having problems" I replied saying that the garage I was currently in was at a different address than the reservation stated in the app. The customer service representative stated it was the same garage, he knew that it was at a different address than the reservation, and this happens all the time (it wasn't even on the same street as the app stated). I was told to hunt down a garage attendant on my way out so that I could show them my code so that I would not have to pay the regular garage fees for my time spent in the garage. This was obviously a huge hassle and the attendant did not understand the dilemma. Of course that is not his fault. In the end they let me leave the garage without paying double. I should have just paid the extra 10 dollars to park in the garage, it would have saved me more stress than 10 dollars, or even 20 is worth. Parking panda seems like a good idea, but it didn't work for me. read more
