Review of the Panda Lot at 1810 Worcester Street Baltimore, MD 21230 Found out about the Parking Panda service from the Ravens website and checked out a spot close to M&T Bank for Sundays NFL game. Pleasantly surprised by the relatively inexpensive cost for outside "lot" parking spot. We were within walking distance of the stadium and there was plenty of space to tailgate and mix with the other Ravens Fans in the lot and on the local streets nearby. Getting into the lot was ~ 5 minutes or so which is to be expected around an hour before game time. The attendant read the email and barcode off my phone and waved us in. Easy and close and that's a plus in downtown B-More. Will give the Panda a try next time in town. read more

They suck! I prepaid a parking space through them online to use for the bay to breaker event. I received an email from them and the bar code that guarantees me for the parking space. I know that the designated time is at 7 am but the night before the bay to breaker I received an email and advised customers to arrive at the designated parking garage at least by 530 am because of the street closures and probable traffic mess. So I did go early before 7 am..like around 630am. When I got to the garage the staff steward asked me for the barcode. So I have him scanned it..it was showing an error code! The guy tried it several times! So I wasn't able to use it! The parking panda charged 27 dollars while the garage charges 24 dollars for the whole day! It is a Sunday! I totally understand about the extra fee because it's business. But not able to use it? That's uncool. Panda tried to resolved it but because I paid cash and the only proof I had was my stub that was provided by parking garage, but I told Panda that I paid in cash and Panda asked for the stub copy which I sent to them. But unfortunately, they can't give me a refund even after all the copy of the stub and the one that the garage put on the window shield. Anyway, I'm not going to use them anymore. First impression lasts. P.S. I was only the second car that's parked in this garage during that time. The first car also used Panda Parking and the barcode didn't work for them too. read more

Finding an open parking space in the city is often a feat in itself which is why I tend to Uber everywhere I go. But it was the Cherry Blossom Festival and I needed someway to bring my car into the city as well as the million bags of heavy Yelp swag to set up. Parking Panda totally saved my butt! I was able to easily reserve a nearby parking space (ON THE SAME DAY AS A NATS GAME AND THE FESTIVAL) and carry all of my items through the festival with most of my dignity in tact (not an easy feat). I printed out my confirmation code in advance and the parking attendant took one look at it and let me in. It saved me so much anxiety to know that I wouldn't be circling around the city with aggressive drivers honking at me while I tried to back my car into a space that only a professional contortionist could back into. It's not really a deal per say, the prices are very similar to what you would pay at a normal parking garage but just knowing that you won't be faced with a big red FULL sign is worth the price of convenience alone! read more

Parking Panda...I had never used this online service before but gave it a try for a Cubs/Rockies MLB game in Chicago on April 15, 2016. The service is a neat idea, but my initial experience was only so-so. I suspect the YELP comments for this service are either 5 stars or 1 star...you either had a seamless transaction and had a nice parking space, or you felt hoodwinked and could not find the space when you arrived on property. First the service idea. When people have parking slots or areas available for parking around event centers that they wish to use to make a little extra money they can contract with Parking Panda for the marketing. Parking Panda lists the property (which could be a parking lot with 20 spaces or a private garage in an alley with just two) on their site and does all the money collecting and issues a ticket for the parking - the property owner (who is responsible for making sure the spaces are open and available on the appointed day) gets a piece of the fee and Parking Panda a piece. Pretty neat little service, and especially good for people going to events where they are looking for a parking space for just one day. Since this is an online service spread across many major metropolitan cities, Parking Panda does not verify each and every location and that can be problematic. So we signed up, paid the $21 fee, and were issued a parking pass for 3880 North Southport on the north side of Chicago in a small lot of about 40 spaces next to a little soccer field (confirmation number of 463jspp). Parking Panda includes a little map and picture of the property, which is very helpful. First problem...there is no lot at 3880 North Southport...the lot is at 3840 North Southport so the address is wrong (one block away) and makes the start of your adventure confusing. Second problem...the lot is a normal public parking pay lot where it costs just $16 to park for 12 hours...so using Parking Panda costs $5 more. Third problem...Parking Panda does not tell you what to do with the parking pass they issued you...do you simply put it in the window? Keep in mind the parking lot itself says if you don't get one of their parking passes for $16 you will be towed. Fourth problem...the lot is not an attended lot - as Parking Panda claims...so who do you ask if you have a question? No one there. Since anyone can park there, the Parking Panda guaranteed space only means they will refund your money...it does not mean there will be a space available...and who knows if they will pay a tow fee. Fifth problem...it is located next to a school and some of the teachers who park in the lot have stickers that say Sunrise Parking...and a teacher walking by told us we would get towed as we could not park there during school hours. All-in-all, way too many angst causing problems. The idea behind Parking Panda is really a neat one...making available little known parking spaces to the public in a variety of cities. But they have to do a lot more groundwork to get this service going right...they are still in their infancy. In all fairness to Parking Panda, when we called and complained they immediately refunded our $21, but that doesn't help much if they ruined your outing for the day (ours wasn't since we paid the parking lot's additional $16...and we were lucky to find a space there as we saw many others pull in and then leave). For that specific lot, I suspect that after school lets out for the year it is a real attended lot for people to use...but during the school year it is not. So maybe the problem is just one of we were too early in the season. Parking Panda should straighten out these concerns and then they will have a dynamite public parking service. Parked at the Eastown Garage next to the Pantages to attend Hamilton. The attendant had us pull forward within a foot of the car in front of us. We asked if we needed to leave the keys and were told no. When we returned from the performance, there was another car parked within one foot behind us, sandwiching us in. We asked a different attendant to move a car so that we could leave and he had no keys. We needed to wait 10-15 minutes for the driver of the car behind us to arrive and move. read more

I used Parking Panda to make a reservation in a parking garage in downtown Baltimore. The garage was located just a couple blocks from the conference I was attending, and it only cost $10 for the day (7am to 7pm). I did notice when I pulled up to the parking garage that they offer an $8 daily rate, but I would have had to arrive before 9am and depart before 5pm, which didn't quite work for me -- plus I felt more relaxed knowing that my spot had been reserved for me ahead of time. When I went to leave for the day, I felt doubly fortunate I had made a reservation as Orioles fans were arriving for a game and many of the nearby parking garages were marked as being full. The security staff at the garage were helpful and assisted me with redeeming my printed Parking Panda reservation. Also, the price when I scanned my parking ticket rang up at $14 (before I scanned in my Parking Panda confirmation), so I did save a few bucks in the end. Overall, the process was very easy and I would not hesitate to use Parking Panda again the next time I need to park in a dense downtown area and not have to worry about finding a spot or a parking garage on the fly. read more

I've used Parking Panda twice recently in San Francisco, where on any given day there are 200,000 more cars in the city than there are parking places. Around Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39, regular rates can be quite usurious. Using Parking Panda, I found easy parking a block away and paid only $16 for over 8 hours of parking - and I could have stayed for even longer. Just the other day I got valet parking in a surprisingly nice garage within easy walking distance to Moscone Convention Center, Union Square, and Chinatown for just $17.25 for 8 hours. In each case I had no problems with the attendants at each garage. I'll keep using this for certain. read more

An absolutely garbage company and service. Please I beg you...don't go through what I did. Save yourself potential hassel and just park in a car garage. My experience was bad but the customer service afterwards was single-handedly the worst I've ever been treated as a customer. So bad in fact I stopped and questioned wether they were a real company or not. No company big or small would allow repeated emails and calls from a customer go un heard for almost 2 months. I handled every conversation I ever had with them in a professional manner. I was never once rude to them. And still got treated like dirt. Long story short, I made a reservation to park in a parking lot for 3 nights. Upon arrival I was told that I couldn't park there and that they've never had anyone stay overnight. There were literally no parking garages open at the time of night I was looking to park. So I drove my hotel and paid the ridiculous price to park there. Fast forward 3 days and I called one of parking panda reps who told me that if I kept the hotel receipt that they would refund me the price I paid for the parking. Great! I thought. Although it wasn't as smooth as I had hoped at least they would pay for my parking. After 2 months of emails and calls and promises that they would send it out I finally got it. 2 months of dead email chains that I got no replies from and after being promised by 3 customer service reps that they would look into and never heard from again. I'm happy I was reimbursed...but it was easily the worst experience at using a new service. I think the thing that gets me the most is that I couldn't have been any more willing to resolve this issue, and it felt like the entire time they were just ignoring me. So not only will I never use this service again, but I'll be sure to spread the word and let people know to stay away from this company. read more

I have used Parking Panda a couple times. First was to reserve parking in Baltimore for a festival event. Parking Panda was recommended by the event organizers. On the plus side, it worked as advertised to get me parking; on the minus side, parking was so plentiful the day I used it that I did not need the reservation, and the rate I got was the same as what was being charged right at the garage, so the app was not too helpful. Second experience trying to use it to find overnight parking in DC was not good. I was repeatedly directed by the app to a garage where, after I filled in all my info, I would get a pop up saying "error: location not available at selected time". I would expect the app to filter out a garage that was "not available" at the time I listed, BEFORE I had to go through all the hassle of typing my name, credit card, etc. Worse yet, the app kept directing me back to that same garage to the point where I could not get other options to come up. I gave up in disgust and used Spot Hero instead, which directed me to a garage the Panda was not even showing and that offered a cheaper rate, and completed my reservation with no hassles. I don't think I'll be using Parking Panda going forward. read more

We used it for the Philadelphia flower show. When we got to the lot, it was full and we were turned away. So were the cars behind us. Someone at the show had the same experience at another lot. When we emailed to complain, we got a reply that someone would get back to us. No one ever did and the money wasn't returned to our account. read more

I'm very disappointed and will never use Parking Panda again. My most recent bad experience involved reserving a spit in a parking garage that didn't having the street number outside so it took a while to determine I was in the correct spot. There was no attendant - only a scanner and it wouldn't scan my QR code after multiple attempts. By accident, I reserved another parking space for the same time and location and the scanner didn't work on that QR code either. Finally, I tried calling the customer support number and only got a voicemail (they aren't open on weekends) -all the while cars are behind me trying to get into the garage. I had to pay a third time - this time with a credit card and got a receipt. So, I paid $30 for what should have cost me $10. They called me back on Monday at a time I couldn't talk and asked the guy to call me back in 15 minutes- he didn't. I emailed someone about the problem and they asked for a photo of the printed receipt I got for the non-parking Panda reservation which I provided. After multiple online complaints about the service, still no one would call me and the best they will do is give me $5 credit instead of the $20 I overspent. They have the WORST customer service, hard to identify lots, and scanners that don't work so is more hassle than it's worth!!! read more

Absolute worst parking experience. Everyone from the hotel to parking panda's "customer service" were rude, derogatory, unaccommodating, and generally unhelpful. I will never use this service again, and do not recommend it for anyone parking. You can generally find good deals through garages themselves, I found out the days after using this... as I was traveling in DC for a few days. Bad customer service on ParkingPanda.com by an agent named William and low business integrity. Parker beware of this demeaning and derogatory slummy company. Third edit to this post: they actually have a section in their terms that is titled: "Really, it's not our problem"... what does that say about how they value their customers and business? I didn't have a good experience with Parking Panda. When I got to the lot, the parking garage was closed (showing FULL LOT) and my "reserved spot" was not available. When I contacted Parking Panda the next day they were unsympathetic -- and didn't give me a refund! I'm sure my experience was an exception rather than the rule. (I have friends who have used the service with no problem.) My complaint is that when there WAS a problem, the company did nothing to resolve it. read more

I booked a parking spot yesterday, from 9am to 7pm for $31. When I got to the garage, I was told they have an early bird special, which is enter between 6am-10am, leave by 7pm, and the cost is $17. The company issued a $10 credit, which does nothing for the complete lack of trust in their services. You are better off not using them. read more

I used Parking Panda for a Ravens game. I showed up close to game time so I was worried my spot would be gone, but like the website promised my spot was held and I was able to make the game by kickoff! That never would have happened with out my reservation! Seriously... No brainer! read more

I got my car broken into 50 Cosmo place in San Francisco. The window was completely shattered and I filed a police report. They denied my claim and stated that I am liable even though my car was suppose to be safe. Just a heads up, if you get any damages to your car or something gets stolen, they will not help you with a thing. They will have you waiting, acting as if they are doing an investigation which is false. They will then deny your claim. Do not I repeat do not think that your car will be safe. read more

I needed a parking spot for a class I was taking near a hotel. Rather than pay the hotel parking fee, I decided to try this service. It saved me money, but here is my issue. I initially set it to book my parking space for seven days. Only after I paid and printed theconfirmation it state: "You are only allowed on entry and one exit within the time listed above". I called their service center and was told that once I parked in the spot, and left one time, I would forfeited the remaining time (for me six days!). Are you crazy? Why tell me after I book and pay for the space. Thank God I read the confirmation completely. In order to book the spot for the way I needed, I had to create and purchase seven diffierent days each with its own confirmation number. This is convoluted and I can't believe they don't have something on their site to allow the booking of multiple days with the ability to come and go daily. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend this serice. Please read your confirmation, it may have something that you weren't informed of during the booking process. read more

Getting into the lot was okay once we were able to find the lot. They show a parking lot entrance that looked like every other parking lot entrance in Toronto. Address signage was non-existent. That's the good part. When it came time to leave, the email with the link to the QR code was gone. Not in my Inbox, not in Deleted Items. Simply GONE. Maybe it did burn up in the atmosphere, who knows.... Had to pay a "lost ticket fee" of another $20 to get the car out of the parking garage. Never, NEVER again... read more

If I could give this business zero stars I would. I booked my parking in advance for a downtown event in Toronto. Parking Panda promises that if you prepay for a spot that you will be guaranteed a spot. So I prepaid for the event. When I arrived the lot was full. The bar code did not work to scan. Once we did get into the lot there was no spots left and we also had to pay to leave the lot because non of the QR scan codes worked. Panda Parking is charging customers in advance for lots and then cannot deliver on the promise. The app is clunky and the tech for the codes is garbage and inconsistent. The customer service experience on getting this matter resolved is terrible. This company cannot deliver on its promises. read more

Avoid Parking Panda! This "service" is a rip-off, and while you will get the parking spot you reserve, it will cost you far more than if you just went to the garage/lot on your own. Further, by finding your own lot, you won't end up in a neighborhood where you fear for your safety walking back to your car. The first time I used Parking Panda was in San Francisco to see a play at the Orpheum Theatre. The lot was littered with broken glass, there were homeless/drunk people in and around the lot, and on the way back (I in a suit, and my gal in a long dress) we were verbally threatened by gang members. The second time was this past weekend, where Parking Panda (who advertises that they will save you up to 75%) charged me $22 to park in a lot that charged $10 upon arrival. They then refused to refund the difference and were rude on top of that! I will never use Parking Panda again, and would highly recommend that you don't either!!!!! read more

They absolutely suck. I used app for Jazz Festival in Atlanta. When I made reservations it default to anything after 9am. I changed that but it didn't accept the change. However, when I went to cancel. I was told because it was passed the reservation time on I would receive credit. I didn't use a credit to reserve it. I want the $11.00 in the same form I used to pay. Parking Panda has amazing customer service. We have used it several times in Los Angeles to park near LAX. This last time there was an issue at the parking lot we choose. Although we had made a reservation a month in advanced, there was no parking available. Not only that but there was also no parking lot manager to be found. We called Parking Panda and they found us a spot a block away, figured out the payment and we drove straight there. We were glad we booked with Parking Panda to have them assist us in finding new parking and settling the bill. Thanks Parking Panda!! read more

We could not get to the reserved parking garage that we had booked through Parking Panda due to unexpected road closures. Women's March on Washington Jan. 21, 2017. We called them and told them our delimma. They apologized (it wasn't their fault) and changed our reservation to a different lot. We were at the alternate lot in just a few minutes. We drove easily to the alternate lot and took the Metro to the National Mall. For our trouble they refunded the parking fee. Doesn't get better than that. read more

I used PArking Panda for the first, and last, time this week. The experience was a total disaster for me and for several others who arrived at a closed-off garage with no attendant in site. My event was an off-Broadway matinee with Angela Lansbury at National Theatre in DC. The theatre's website advertized Parking Panda thusly: "Make your trip to National Theatre stress-free with a guaranteed parking spot." That sounded so promising for this and future trips into DC. With great enthusiasm I paid $19 for a spot in the nearest PMI garage at 1220 E Street NW., catty corner from the theatre. I arrived 25 minutes early to find several cars lined up in both direction trying to get in. Two cars were parked blocking the entrance, with an orange traffic cone behind each. There were no attendants in sight. Occasionally cars would leave, but no one was allowed in. Eventually everyone waiting was out of their cars waving their printed Parking Panda receipts. Two or three people went into the garage to search for an attendant. Meanwhile E Street was blocked in both directions. Eventually one receipt holder emerged with the information that she had been told the place was full and no one was going to get in REGARDLESS OF OUR GUARANTEED RECEIPTS! Meanwhile, several more cars were leaving. Perhaps these were simply folks who had been allowed in to circle fruitlessly and finally leave because no attendant emerged to allow anyone elsa in. Finally one disgruntled customer told us he had been told, by the attendants hiding inside, that there were several other garages in the neighborhood and if we had a problem with the guarantee and/or the money we had paid we should take it up with Parking Panda. Time was running out so I found another garage three blocks away near Ford's Theatre, which charged me $25 and left me running up E Street to arrive at the theatre just one minute before the doors closed for curtain rising. I was breathless and too angry to enjoy the start of the play, which I had been looking forward to for weeks. (As I ran by the 1221 E Street PMI garage garage I saw a new group of people lined up, trying to get in. They had no chance!) read more

Paid for parking to a concert and parked in the correct location and still got a ticket from their personnel. Had to call in to have the ticket cancelled, which was a bit of a pain. The real concern is that they could have had my car towed and that would have left me stranded 4 hours from home. Wont be using them again, although they did fix their mistake if they had towed my car it would have been a disaster. read more

It took forever to get out of the garage since our parking pass wouldn't work and several garage attendants didn't have the key to let us out. Also, once you get on their email list (and then they share your email with their sister company!),you basically cannot get off any of the lists. The unsubscribe links do not work and calling them to complain does no good. Avoid this company at all costs! read more

Because of the two large events taking place simultaneously at the venue we were going to in St. Louis (Scottrade Center and Peabody Opera House on May 18, 2017) I was worried about getting decent parking. I found Parking Panda following a DuckDuckGo search about "parking for the Peabody." After reading the reviews here and in other places I decided to give them a try. Wow, what a nice experience! They had a spot available .2 miles from the Peabody, a 5 minute walk. The information I needed was clear and complete (location, photo, where to enter, price, security conditions, is it secure/attended, etc.) The spot became "mine" for the entire 24 hour period for which I rented it. The cost was $13, which was $3 more than the cost for unreserved spaces. This seemed quite reasonable. When we arrived, about 40 minutes before the start time of the event, there was an attendant admitting cars and we were admitted with the information on my phone's Panda app. I will say that I have NO idea if she knew NOT to sell our spot and what we'd have found if we came later, but the process for us was seamless and highly satisfactory. read more

We reserved in advance, online, for our stay at the Renaissance hotel across the street. We got a convention rate. The attendants were helpful and knowlegeable. One had to show me where the QR scanner was. There was one attendant when I came in at 6PM and 2 when I left, 3 days later, at 3PM. The spaces were narrow but I expect that in a city. Parking place did not exist -- the address given has no parking in front or behind, and the alleyway beside it had nothing looking remotely like the picture, and in any case if the spot was there it needed to be identified in terms of the building it was behind, which was a different street. Spent the evening wandering the alleyway. Half hour late for dinner with friends, after finding parking on the street. Never never again. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. If there was option for ZERO stars, that would be too high a review. I used Parking Panda for an event at Tampa Theater. Went on line, prepaid my parking fee and followed the instructions when I parked. I got out of event and found a ticket on my windshield for not paying. The attendant did not have ability to clear the problem so he directed me to a phone number to call to get it fixed. I called 6 times and left messages including my ticket number as well as my prepaid receipt number. No return calls so I thought it was taken care of until I received a collection agency notice demanding payment. NEVER AGAIN! Terrible service and now wasting my time. Next time, I will take my chances and just pay when I get there. ZERO stars is what they deserve. read more

I needed to park near the Lincoln Memorial (DC) on a Saturday afternoon and so I booked my parking space with Parking Panda in 2400 Virginia Ave NW. I spent 13 dollars for 24 hours, not that bad. Just downloaded the QR code on my smartphone and scanned it at the entrance of the parking. No human interaction required. Very easy and smooth :-) read more

I have used the app in DC, NYC, Philly and Baltimore. It's convenient to put the directions in my GPS and drive there directly knowing that garage is the best available for the price and distance from my destination. 2 years ago when I first started using the app, a garage was full, Panda gave me a refund. Another time the price at the garage was less, Panda returned me the difference. I'm assuming they've worked on these problems, the last few times I've used it had no problems. read more

My friends know I am not the best driver. Combine that with the fact that I often don't know where I am going and you end up with boom, smash, crash. Purchased my space online and my spot was saved for me. It was fun watching all the crazy drivers sitting in traffic after I had already parked in my spot. Great user experience with this service. Flew into San Francisco and went on a road trip down the coast with the girls. Needed parking in a few different cities and found this app. It saved me so much money and is really easy to use. I made a mistake with one of my reservations and their customer service team fixed it right away. Found a great garage pretty close to Union Square in San Francisco. Around $35 for two days of parking, an absolute steal. Had a very similar experience in Los Angeles. I would definitely recommend this app! read more

In Baltimore, this was a great quick and easy services to use. Only had to park a block away from the Baltimore convention center so it was an easy walk to our tradeshow. The best thing was there was no "signing in" to a service i will only use once! read more
