Styertowne Shopping Center has been around for at least 50 years plus…read more History: For those Yelpers who live in the area, this center had the original Rowe Manse Emporium which started out as a small card and candle shop. Later, it expanded to an ultra modern department store. People came from all over to shop here. Rows Manse has been closed for the last 20 years. The center has a variety of stores: CVS, Corbo Jeweler's, Dollar Store, Vitamin Shoppe, US Post Office, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Seasons Market, Allstate Ins. and much more. To me, the Shopping Center needs a "real facelift". Most of the shops need to "update" their outside appearance. The Shopping Centre's appearance hasn't changed since its inception. On occasion, I've noticed some questionable characters about. One of the latest and a real welcome addition is the Mexican Restaurant is Bitol. They serve wonderful cocktails and cuisine. Styertowne Shopping Center has a large parking lot in the front and rear of the center. PS: How could I forget, the wonderful Styertowne Bakery. It's one of the best bakeries in NJ!

Now there are eateries, some medical offices, and a large sneaker store I have no need for. Stew Leonard's moved in but it's not my kind of store so I rarely go. They are putting in a Stew's Swim School which I will not use either. The Styertowne Bakery is still the best so hope they don't leave!

The ground doesn't have a parking spot and there are parking outside , but no clear indication if it was the ground parking or the hotel/university parking. I did t want to get charged for illegal parking. I hence had to drive a few minutes to get to a closed parking garage . No machines here . Had to pay online using a PayByPhone app. Took me 30 mins end to end for parking . Food was expensive inside : tasted ok. Not that good . Make sure you eat outside before coming to the ground . Overall it was a good experience for the event , but parking/food wasn't that good..

Free parking. An intimate venue. And baseball. How much better can it get?…read more When I travel during summer, I take in baseball games ... many of them of the Minor League or independent league variety. This team -- from the players to the ticket-takers -- doesn't disappoint. There's not a bad seat in the house, and the tickets are cheaper than a movie theater. There are plenty of picnic areas and umbrella tables along the concourse. No worries though, as you can still hear the umpire calling balls and strikes. I've had colder stadium beer and better ballpark hot dogs, but I certainly went back for seconds. Oh, and you're never more than 15-20 yards from a bathroom. Yogi Berra Stadium is the home of the New Jersey Jackals, a member of the CanAm (Canadian-American) independent league. The rosters of these teams are comprised mostly of players who are trying one last time to make it to the big leagues. Several players have made it as high as AA ball, but were released for one reason or another. In other words, the quality of baseball being played here is good ... I'd say between A and AA. If I lived around these parts, I'd be a Jackals regular for sure. For the people who do live within 20 minutes of this place (and there are many), oh how fortunate they are.

However the WORST thing about this shopping center is I have seen a man TWICE take photos up women's skirts in the Michaels. So believe me when I tell you that this is BY FAR the worst, most frustrating, awfully thought out place I've ever had the sheer displeasure of experiencing. From the asininely narrow and sharp entrances, to the tiny, far too few parking spots, to the four way intersections that barely have enough room for cars to pass each other, everything about this place is a nightmare. The fact that everyone (understandably) becomes hyper-aggressive while trying to find a spot is just the icing on the cake. Please, if you have ANY other even remotely reasonable alternative stores to go to, go to those other stores. As far as I know, each store here has another location within 10 miles (at most). Do yourself a favor and go to those other locations. Seriously, avoid this place at all costs. Though if you ever drive down Rt. 3 West you'll curse its name anyway because of the traffic it causes to back up onto the highway. I'd rather go to the Garden State Plaza on Black Friday. That's how bad this craptacular bastard of a shopping center is.
