Later, it expanded to an ultra modern department store. People came from all over to shop here. Rows Manse has been closed for the last 20 years. The center has a variety of stores: CVS, Corbo Jeweler's, Dollar Store, Vitamin Shoppe, US Post Office, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Seasons Market, Allstate Ins. and much more. To me, the Shopping Center needs a "real facelift". Most of the shops need to "update" their outside appearance. The Shopping Centre's appearance hasn't changed since its inception. On occasion, I've noticed some questionable characters about. One of the latest and a real welcome addition is the Mexican Restaurant is Bitol. They serve wonderful cocktails and cuisine. How much better can it get?…read more When I travel during summer, I take in baseball games ... many of them of the Minor League or independent league variety. This team -- from the players to the ticket-takers -- doesn't disappoint. There's not a bad seat in the house, and the tickets are cheaper than a movie theater. There are plenty of picnic areas and umbrella tables along the concourse. No worries though, as you can still hear the umpire calling balls and strikes. I've had colder stadium beer and better ballpark hot dogs, but I certainly went back for seconds. Oh, and you're never more than 15-20 yards from a bathroom. Yogi Berra Stadium is the home of the New Jersey Jackals, a member of the CanAm (Canadian-American) independent league. The rosters of these teams are comprised mostly of players who are trying one last time to make it to the big leagues. Several players have made it as high as AA ball, but were released for one reason or another. In other words, the quality of baseball being played here is good ... I'd say between A and AA. If I lived around these parts, I'd be a Jackals regular for sure. For the people who do live within 20 minutes of this place (and there are many), oh how fortunate they are.
