After moving into the area my Husband and I stumbled on this practice and we actually really liked it. Mind you, I HATE the dentist and anything having to do with them. Going every 6 months makes me want to hang myself. Also, I have no cavities or any other issue with my teeth so it's not like I hold a grudge. The people are very nice and we receive emails, texts and phone calls to remind us of our appointments. The waiting room and exam rooms are very clean and well lit, sometimes chilly, but our appointments are usually 7:30am so it's expected a little. They have a "live" camera that allows them to snap pictures of your mouth and it gets displayed on the monitor on front of you so you know exactly what is going on in your mouth and the can switch to previous xrays to see if anything has changed. Before your leave, your hygienist makes your next appointment also right on that screen and you are assigned the same person each time. She also schedules my husbands appointment even while he's in the room next door. Coming from a small town with no updated technology, I just found all of this fascinating (and I am in my 20's)! The only down side is in the last 4 years, I think we have only met our dentist once. I wouldn't know him if I ran into him and the last few times we have a young girl filling in as the dentist. So it is quite strange...not sure where the two Dentist's are, but the place itself is fab....for a dentist office.

He was still heavily medicated and tripped and stumbled his way out. I had to find a wheel chair on my own from the Yale office to get my sedated child safely to the car. Against my better judgement we took our youngest there too. I fully recognize that even using best practices there can be unwanted outcomes. When I expressed my concerns first to the nurse than the doctor that my child was reporting pain and was pounding on the arm rest to get them to stop or to acknowledge them and he was shushed and told to stop moving. Certainly there are limits to medication dosages and sometimes pain can happen. That is not the problem. Its the hubris and arrogance coupled with the gaslighting from staff. The reluctance to admit a complications. That is the problem. The doctor was better about it and had a reasonable explanation for every concern though was not apologetic/sympathetic that there were compications. The nurse was the real offender. Starting by saying my child was just being emotional. Minimizing this child's concerns and acting almost put out by my asking questions respectfully. Coastal has a nursing problem. 9/2/20 My semi-annual checkup was initially scheduled in…read moreJune, but was postponed due to the coronavirus madness. It was rescheduled three months later to today, 9/2/20. Extreme protocols are in place at Dr. Greenberg's office, and thankfully so. When you arrive, they ask that you call from your vehicle before coming to the door. The receptionist comes and escorts you in, takes your temperature and O2 reading, reads a warning form, and has you read and sign a Covid questionnaire. The hygienist is masked, shielded and gowned. Aside from all those understandable precautions, my cleaning and checkup went very well, as always. Before you leave, Dr.Greenberg comes in to give you a final oral check, as he always does. He too had all precautions for his and his patient's safety & well being. I'm always impressed with the dental care I receive from him and all his staff.

Gradually as an adult I have been "growing up" and dealing with my dentist anxiety. The pleasant staff and Dr Greenberg are definitely helpful in my desire to deal with my dental issues. So what do I like most? Dr Greenberg listens and helps me make the best decisions for my dental needs, he doesn't decide for me. He tells me my options and we make a plan. A plan that is flexible based on any dental changes and my financial concerns. Most of the Dentists that I have dealt with in my life have pretty much tried to decide for me. We're doing this, then we're doing that. There's been no discussion about other choices or why... they seemed to just want me to schedule appointments and show up with my money. Dr Greenberg office is well equipped with the latest equipment (so actually, I am not a dentist and don't know what all the latest dental equipment is... but Dr Greenberg seems to have a lot of high tech equipment, can't imagine there is much he doesn't have). And He wanted to know my health history and what my plans were and he explained every single thing to me. Unfortunately I was not approved for the financing but I am working on my credit and plan on going back. I love the place and love the lady Fran who Helped assist me with the application. The other gentleman was also great at the desk. i wish I remembered his name . But anyways this is by far somewhere I am going back to for sure . They are down to earth and really nice !!!
