They were to come to a house I was responsible for. No one was living in the house. They were…read moresupposed to call me when they were on their way so I wasn't waiting in the house for them to show up. The man was rather curt and said I didn't answer the phone. The reason I didn't answer was he wrote down the wrong #. I wanted to follow him to the location where an old washing machine was being taken to find out what I could get for the metal. he didn't want to do that. There was a stationary bike I wanted taken upstairs and one mover thought he was funny and said they wouldn't do it but they did. I certainly wouldn't call this outfit "sweet."

I dealt with Nick at Ron's Moving. He was highly responsive and was both incredibly helpful and accommodating to our situation. He was able to assemble a crew and sent four of his amazing team members over to help us. I can't believe how fast they moved us in! It was a great experience and I literally cannot say enough about Ron's Moving! The price was right but most important, their service and DELIVERY ON THEIR PROMISES was above and beyond!

I came home early in order to prep the house because I was expecting a delivery of a new GE stove…read moreas a replacement for a defective one. Approximately 2 pm, the Mackie's truck went past slowing down at our mailbox with our address on it, turned around at the end of the road & proceeded to drive past our house in the opposite direction. Then no sign of them. Called the office & was told they couldn't find our house, horse puckies, & were now in Bedford! Would have to reschedule...oh no, we had prepped the house for an easy delivery, doors removed, drop cloths, old stove disconnected. The person on the phone said she would call them to return to our house. Am I boiling mad!!! You bloody well can bet on it. Next I am getting on to GE as to why they would hire such morons.

I received a phone call from Lenard the day before where he explained the process of the move to me and how the day would play out. As explained by Lenard the removal guys arrive into work at 8am where they clean their truck and prepare for their days work. Lenard told me to expect them between 9-9.30am but to allow 15 minutes incase of bridge traffic. At 10am I called the number he had given me to reach an answer machine, I then called the office asked to speak to Lenard and was referred to another answer machine. At 10.30am I received a phone call from Jennifer informing me the removal guys would arrive between 12-1pm. Big difference in the time which subsequently meant I had to lose a days work. When the removal guys arrived they had none of the right packing equipment and their truck was more than half full meaning they did not have room for our stuff. The two guys spent thirty minutes trying to contact the office whereby then they asked us to ring so this issue could be resolved. Between myself and my husband we were reffered from one person to another with nothing been resolved. Finally we were put intouch with Lenard who basically took no responsibilty, he tried to shift blame to others and never once apologized or even acknowledged the wrong information he had given me or the fact two removal guys showed up to my home four hours late, with a half full truck and incorrect packing materials.. Lenard was extremly unprofessional and to be frank he does not care about you or your move. If you want a stress free, worry free, friendly and professional moving comapny I would AVOID having any dealings with Mackie.
