Name branding is incredibly important to the successful operations of a business.
Radisson is a well known hotel chain, and the expectation bar is set. Unset your expectations if you end up in this unfortunate hotel.
I surmised that Radisson bought this property and decided to not invest in making it a worthwhile place to stay. Yet, they slapped their name on this property.
Check in was a cluster. The front desk couldn't figure out the reservation. Once they did, we had to ask several times for two keys.
We ended taking our bags to our room. The keycards didn't work. After three trips downstairs to have the keycards replaced, we finally were able to get into the room. Once in, we would have been better served staying outside.
The bed was incredibly small, and definitely not as advertised. The furniture accessories were broken, and looked liked something you'd find dumped on the side of the road.
The minibar was completely empty and dirty.
The bathroom was a flood zone. The shower was clean, but the water flooded the bathroom every time the shower was used.
The restaurant. Ugh. Great views. The worst food. Service was nonexistent, and this isn't a hotel anyone should stay at.
I was excited that a Starbucks was next door, and that we could escape this hellhole. read more
