The room I had was big with a big bathroom, Service great, on the 3rd floor very quiet. The breakfast is really good compared to other hotels I have been in Brescia. The chef is making fresh eggs as you like it and I didn't miss anything for a good start in the morning. Parking was no problem. In the evening they offer a buffet for 7€, I didn't eat there but it looked very good as I was walking by.... the citycenter is really close, just 5 minute walk. I hope you will enjoy your stay as I did. I stayed here 4 weeks and can not complain. I forgot, they have as well a small gym with 2 treadmills and some weights.....

On the recommendation of a trusted colleague, we stayed at Hotel Vittoria for several days. We could have stayed for months! (We changed rooms the last day to have a balcony overlooking the Duomo Plaza). What a wonderful hotel... service awesome, rooms excellent, ambiance total luxury. This trip I had no choice. I checked in and got an "upgrade". What that means is I got a bathrobe and a tea maker and a king-sized bed? But truthfully, I couldn't walk around the room as the bed was too big for the room and I'm kind of a big guy. I've stayed in other AC Hotels - Bologna twice and Firenze (Florence) - but this one is NOT a customer-oriented hotel. More of a business hotel. Frankly, their service is lousy. The next day they didn't clean my room. It was around 3 pm. I hadn't slept at all the night before and I needed to take a nap. The front desk called and said they had to clean the room as the maids were leaving. I told her I needed to sleep and she told me to come to the front desk to get my towels. Wow. In the end, I didn't sleep the three nights I stayed here. Mainly, because of how the doors close. They actually slam! And you can hear that in your rooms. Other reviewers have complained that the walls are thin. As I was leaving the hotel, I got to the elevator just before the floor manager. My hands were full, so I thought she would press the button for me. She did, but she got into the elevator, closed the doors and left me standing there! Unbelievable. This is the attitude of the hotel. It's a management thing. I spoke to the manager when I initially tried to stay there. He's a tall bald guy. They won't budge despite your Platinum status. When my girlfriend called to complain, the manager said they have many, many Platinum members, so his hands are tied. He did finally agree to upgrade me to a suite - after 20 minutes on the phone - but only on the last night, and by then, I was exhausted, miserable and I decided to leave the hotel early to go home to sleep! After 3 nights of bad / no sleep, a 6-hour drive through a rain & snowstorm awaited me - it was grueling. No grazie.

Staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, especially if you shop around - on the web - for the best rates. Rooms are restrained in size but tastefully decorated and clean - same goes for the bathroom. My bedroom window looked-out onto the atmospheric cobbled street below with its lively caffès, so there was some late night/early morning noise although the clock tower - which it's named after - didn't cause the noise problem I suspected it might. Breakfast is served in a room on the mezzanine floor - a pretty copious buffet is provided - the coffee is excellent. There is also a welcoming salone to relax in, tastefully and comfortably decorated, with magazines and books to browse through, at your leisure. Deserves a good three and a half stars
