Much more of a big park hotel than I usually visit --- lots of bit white leather couches and marble. Attached terrace / wine bar (http://de.yelp.ch/biz/gruppo-ca-noa-brescia) is excellent, wi-fi worked fine, and breakfast hit the spot.
Very close to the university, if that's your business in town.
Otherwise, the location is a little awkward without a motor vehicle. The 7 bus works well --- when it's running. Watch out for evenings after 8 and weekends, when it only runs every 2 hours. It's an uninteresting walk from the city center, especially with lots of bags after a full day of travel.
The front desk can call you a taxi, but the opposite direction is harder --- there aren't a lot of circulating cabs in Brescia. read more
