Do not be surprised that I'm giving it 5-stars for the first review. I loved my food here…read more
I was back in the UK for my graduation and my parents were staying at the Holiday Inn where this restaurant is located and so we went here for a spot of lunch.
Absolutely delicious.
When we entered it was quite noisy as a conference group was just finishing up but before we knew it they had left and it was quiet.
Like most restaurants in the UK these days the wait-staff is mostly foreign and although they might have a little trouble understanding you, patience is due; they are friendly and absolutely fabulous at what they do.
The menu is nice with a good range of options.
They gave us a selection of breads to start, all excellent (I was hungry so I tried them all) and our appetizers followed shortly.
To start I had the scallops, moist, a good size and lovely.
For my main meal I had the "Pork 2-ways". Which was really Pork 4 ways.
It included medallions of tenderloin, pork belly, bacon and crackling over a bed of pasta (check out the picture I uploaded).
Delicious, very filling to the point that if you ever have a last pork meal ever, this should be it.
It is on the pricier side but this restaurant isn't pretending to be pricey like some might do.
Give it a try if you want a nice meal out.
Bonus: clean bathrooms are always a plus.
