Tidy little restaurant that would seat about 30 - 35 at a guess, a spotless and well maintained toilet for customers, a self serve coffee machine should you fancy that, and a really good selection of all that you would expect from a good high street chip shop. Portion size was large and you were not left feeling that you had been given the throw away small bits of fish as often you are at these seaside places. It is off the beaten track somewhat as I suspect most people head for the bigger towns on the coast rather than these little places. Parking was good too as there is plenty of space all along the sea wall and also a few of those private pay for ones. I'll be going back for certain!

There are also tables outside, and a couple of 4-seater "pods", providing extra accommodation for diners. On each occasion, we had mains and drinks, which with service came to a very reasonable £25 or so a head. We thought the food was very good: well done and filled burgers with god chips; a very nice Sunday lunch; and then fish & chips and a sweet potato tagine. Service was friendly and efficient, and very professional (we were impressed by the obvious training of the youthful staff). There's a small car park attached to the pub - essential as there's really not much parking available otherwise in the village. The pub is right next to the "Coast-hopper" coastal bus stop. It's worth booking well ahead at weekends, and during the summer months, as it is a very popular place to eat. Recommended.
