They have plenty of seating and this includes high chairs for little ones. They are always cleaning floors and tables which is reassuring especially as so many people eat here constantly throughout the day. My girls always have the happy meals and loves the little toys you have in with these. I am always trying something different ever time we've been here and I've always liked what I've had. These prices of their food are good for what you get. Everything I've ordered has always been ready and still hot. There's nothing worse then having food and it's luke warm, but MacDonalds here has never had that problem.

The resturant is always packed out so you have no choice then but eat in your car. The service though is really quick and I've never had no problem with their orders. They also have lots of staff around constantly keeping the resturant area tidy. All orders that i've placed for my family have always been ready as i've never had to wait for anything to be cooked like i have elsewhere. The parking that they have here though I don't think is big enough for the demand that they have and so they end up going into the car park for the main shopping area.

There are also tables outside, and a couple of 4-seater "pods", providing extra accommodation for diners. On each occasion, we had mains and drinks, which with service came to a very reasonable £25 or so a head. We thought the food was very good: well done and filled burgers with god chips; a very nice Sunday lunch; and then fish & chips and a sweet potato tagine. Service was friendly and efficient, and very professional (we were impressed by the obvious training of the youthful staff). There's a small car park attached to the pub - essential as there's really not much parking available otherwise in the village. The pub is right next to the "Coast-hopper" coastal bus stop. It's worth booking well ahead at weekends, and during the summer months, as it is a very popular place to eat. Recommended.

I didn't book but thats not to say you definitely don't need to. My wife and I wanted to visit this shop/restaurant because we had heard how good the Steak and Ale Pie was ( from more than one person )....So a visit we must and did make! Upon entering the shop/restaurant - we were shown to a table, given a menu, and asked what drinks we would like... a short while later the drinks arrived and we drank as we further perused the menu...short while again later the waitress enquired as to what we would like from the menu... My wife and I had already decided that we would like the much praised Steak and Ale Pie - ''unfortunately we don't have Steak and Ale Pie she told us. Disappointment hung in the air as this was really and truly the ONLY thing on the menu we would have normally chosen to order and to be fair WAS the only reason we were there. OK - NOTE TO STAFF :- When customers come into your restaurant please, please please do NOT seat them at a table, commit them to buying drinks, let them start enjoying said drinks...and then drop the bomb shell that the Steak and Ale Pie is OFF the menu. This might sound a trifle petty, but i refer you back to my statement ''this was really and truly the ONLY thing on the menu we would have normally chosen to order and to be fair was the only reason we were really there''. I / we still stand by that. I'm sure the correct way would have been was to have shown us to a table and informing us ''i'm so sorry, but i'm afraid the Steak and Ale or whatever is off the menu'', because then the customer can choose something else, or choose to leave and eat elsewhere with a view to coming back another day when your much raved about Steak and Ale Pie is actually ON the menu. ...Sigh, Rant over Anyhow, because WE FELT committed to stay we went on to order a Chicken and Mushroom Pie and a Chicken Bacon and Leek Pie. These were both very nice and i am not complaining about these at all, great Creamy Mash with a nice Minty Mushy Peas side order....i don't think, personally the gravy was overly fantastic though and on a par with what i could do at home with a pot of Bisto granules, but hey ho...others might find it positively orgasmic!

After looking up on Google for the closest F&C with good reviews while walking on the waterfront in…read moreGreat Yarmouth, I decided on Fish & Grill for lunch. We sat in at the take-away side. My boyfriend clearly ordered cod at the counter and the young man repeated the order. Not only did our order take upwards of 30 mins to be called, but the fish was very mushy inside and I didn't think it was even cod. I was proven correct when I heard another couple go to the counter to collect their orders of cod and when I watched them cut it open at the next table, I saw that theirs was firm with chunky flakes like how cod should be. So we definitely got given some other type of fish. The batter was also not very tasty on either the fish or the onion rings. I didn't even finish my meal there. I could have just left and never gone there again, but then my poor boyfriend got super sick later and was throwing up. Hence the bad review. All the F&C shops there claim to be the best. This shop most definitely is not and I will never go there again. One thing I liked was the warning sign for seagulls.

The drive through the countryside was delightful but unfortunately we'd used up our sunshine quota for the day by the time we got to the beach. Dark cloud cover and gale force winds meant a fish and chips picnic by the beach was out of the question. We'd given up finding a decent spot for a feed before we drove past Fish & Grill. Amid the collection of usual chip shops and pubs was this fine establishment which appeared to be freshly renovated. Either that or they keep it immaculately clean. I LOVED the place. It had a seaside yet homely feel to it. The service was exceptional with the staff and the proprietor working in tandem like a family. The food was also sensational. Manchester is definitely missing a place like this. An independent family orientated fish and chips restaurant.

So based on the meal I had, ambience, price and friendliness I can only award a 3 star rating. Lasagne was bland and quiet average in taste. Certainly not as tasty as previous ones I had eaten there. Would have been nice to have something other than salad and coleslaw to eat. Maybe chips or wedges for example. I thought the meal was a little overpriced too for what it was. Tables seemed crammed and too tight.
