ATA Plumbing did the plumbing work on our shower. He came by with a helper that hadn't had a bath…read morein weeks and stank up my house for hours after they left. Thomas has a condescending attitude and his price was higher than quoted. I had to call him back as the shower controls were installed crooked and too far back in the wall. He was agitated that I dare make him fix it but he complied albeit grudgingly. After calling him a third time to drop off the drain screen he promised the first visit and to look at why the shower was leaking (he left the valve open but I fixed it myself), he was extremely rude that I didn't call to let him know I had fixed it myself. He still didn't have the drain screen and said he'd drop it off one day at my doorstep. I doubt he'll even do that. This is the worst plumber I've ever used and certainly the rudest customer service I've ever experienced. Don't bother calling this company, you'll be extremely disappointed.

Instead of leaving this side problem unresolved they consulted with me first. The minute I told them what it was for, they immediately figured out a remedy. Really appreciate their value for a quality job. Unrelated to this job, I had an external garden tap that keeps leaking. Since he didn't have the parts to fix it, I asked him to explain what is the problem. He explained thoroughly the issue and how to fix it.

We purchased our house a year ago and have been enjoying our radiant floors. One day during the…read morecold snap, we noticed that the floors weren't emitting any heat. AB Tech was recommended by a friend of ours so I called Bruce and explained the situation. Good news/bad news: it was a Friday and he was in the middle of a big job and couldn't come until Monday. Then an hour later, he called to say he was breaking away from the big job to come look. He noted that the boiler wasn't serviced in a while and the pilot needed replacing. He spent a couple hours on this when I know he had to get back to the big job, but he was committed. He just came back today to finish the service. I'm grateful to Bruce and his crew for taking the time to help us. It would have been a cold weekend.

The second time I used Ab-Tech the guy charged me $168 for a zone valve and $15 for miscellaneous. $157 for 15 minutes of labour. Total cost $370 (taxes included). Seems kind of expensive. Overall, the workers were prompt and professional and solved the problems quickly. I just don't understand their fee structure.

Melvin helped with the initial investigation. I decided to just replace the toilet as all the bolts were rusted heavily. The installation of the toilet by Melvin was nicely done. Micah came to continue the investigation. Like a detective, he discovered the souce of the leak (a pinhole leak of a copper cold water supply pipe just before a T-junction.) It was a difficult spot to work on as there was a hot water pipe in front of it. I really appreciate their hard work.

Phablo was professional, courteous, and wonderful to deal with. He estimated the work before beginning, explained the process to us, and completed the work on schedule.
