It's a small restaurant in Montparnasse, and we fortunately were able to walk right in for an early dinner. They had to pull a table back so we could scoot into a corner booth. The menu is extensive and includes wontons (raviolis), soups, and noodle dishes. Everything looked amazing and the restaurant smelled so good. We ordered the wontons as an appetizer, soup Lamen with beef, soup with shrimp dumplings, lamen with pork and Lamen with beef. We only waited about 8 minutes and steaming hot food was placed in front of us. Our entrees made it out before our appetizer but we didn't mind. Portions were very large and the noodles were chewy, fresh and delicious. We loved every item we ordered. We came back later in the trip to order takeout since the line for tables was so long. If you're in Paris, this is a must try!

The noodle texture was amazing. Got Beef Noodle Soup and Sichuan Fish Lamen Soup - both were incredible! Really generous portions with deep, flavorful broth that had the perfect amount of spice. Everything balanced perfectly with those fresh noodles. Service was quick too. Definitely worth checking out.

There is a page for hot and cold small plates, and you can order 3 from each page for two people. The number of items you can order goes up with the number of people and of course the price is adjusted as well. We went a different way and got plates: I got the chiche taouk (chicken) and the wife got the mixed plate with sausage, lamb, and chicken. We both got humous and eggplant with our meals, as well as the wonderful rice. The meal came with a large stack of pita bread. Her plate was 18.00 euro and mine was 16.50. It was a huge amount of food and we could barely finish. My chicken was absolutely delicious. If we were in the States and had a frig we would have gotten a doggy bag, but that was not possible here. We really enjoyed our meal. It is a family owned place that is a take out place in the front and the small restaurant in the back. We had to ask for the restaurant because it was not clear at the beginning. When we were there, which admittedly was very early by Paris standards, the restaurant was empty except for us. The wife was very helpful as the waiter and showed us pictures of the different dishes. Her English was very good. I would definitely return.

Then we walked up a few streets and made a right. This is the best Lebanese restaurant ever! It was also the best restaurant we went to in Paris. Totally family owned. The wife cooks and the husband is the waiter. They are really nice and speak English. He gave free refills on my tea and free refills on the pita bread. I had the kafta with rice, parsely tomato salad, hummus (best hummus we ever had), some sort of tomato salsa, and some sort of cream. It was alot of food so definately had big portions = good value for your money. Baklava came warm and crispy. It was the best baklava ever. Everything was homemade.

That is...until I learned that this is what is known has "white Chinese food" - food that has been altered to the taste of westerners. I can't say that this place is like chicken balls (I am laughing as i am typing this) because deep fried chicken balls is really not a thing in the authentic Chinese food culture, whereas things like pad thai, pad see ew, green curry chicken, penang curry beef does exist in in the authentic thai food repertoire, which finally brings me to my point that although I would say this place is "white thai food" it's actually done quite well for what it is. It has your typical Thai dishes cooked by non-thai people with predominantly pre-made thai-like spices. It's tasty but lacks the explosion of thai flavours. Why four stars then? Well four stars in its class. (I'm laughing again) The food is good, the restaurant is clean and bright, the people are nice, the price is very reasonable, and they deliver...not to mention this is situated in the 15th arr, where you would be hard pressed to find food not catered to western taste. I haven't tried their delivery yet, but I have no doubt I will.

Make sure to try the Nem Thadua (salad), Pad Siew (beef noodles) and as a dessert the banana in coconut milk with tapioca. I'm a fan.
