Jelani told me that he had forgotten about me and was glad that I showed up to pick up the pants. They were the wrong length that I ordered and Jelani told me that I can get them altered with his tailor at a different location. I took the jeans and left. After a few days, I brought them back and returned them because I didn't want to have jeans altered after paying about $250 for them. About 30 minutes after I left the store I received a call from Jelani and the voicemail message is attached. Very odd call and disappointing since I've shopped there for several years. I will follow Jani's recommendation and never shop there again and I would recommend to everyone to do the same. "Hey Carlos is Jelani Martinez from Sartorio Inc. I saw that you returned the pants today and I just wanted to let you know please do not ever come to my business ever again it's extremely unacceptable for you to return pants 20 days after purchasing them we have that on the receipt so I'm very happy that we gave you your money back so please use that money back as a reason to never step foot again and any of my businesses..."

They clearly cater to drag queens and performers (yay lgbt-friendly establishments!). Some of the merchandise they carry includes kryolan cosmetics, tons of wigs at very affordable prices, contact lenses, a selection of costume pieces in a variety of sizes, shoes, feather boas, fans, really nice costume jewelry... The gent running the shop was incredibly friendly and also told me they offer custom rhinestoning services. Seriously, this place is small but totally badass for entertainers (and people like me). To give you an idea on some of their pricing I saw wigs around $35, costume jewelry around $40, costume bustiers around $40, and a thick boa (none of that craft store nonsense) for $45. Once you pop in, be sure to check out the one side wall with photos of some lovely queens. I also love that they give you the freedom to run in your shoes and return if they don't feel right. That's probably the toughest part of buying sneakers, not knowing how they'll really feel on a run. This is absolutely the first place I'll come for running shoes/sneakers moving forward. Max was awesome, he listened to what kind of running and workouts I'm doing and helped me find shoes that fit not only my feet but my lifestyle.
