I rented an apartment for a one month stay through Paris Attitude. Elhadji was our agent. Basically, I found a few apartments of interest on their website and inquired about their availability. It took several days for me to hear back from Elhadji. All communications with him were exceptionally slow. The landlord also took a long time to respond. I was thinking that this might be a cultural difference between the US and France. The apartment ended up working out very well overall. There was one terrible accident which happened in the apartment though which could have been avoided. The curtain rods in the apartment sat on top of holders and where not secured in place. One day, I opened the wooden shudders on the window and it hit the curtain rod. The heavy wooden rod fell on my face causing terrible swelling and a black eye. The landlord had the rod replaced and someone secured it with what looked like rubber bands. I am not sure if that would be sufficient to avoid a future accident. But the second window had the same issue and it was not fixed at all. I reported this to Elhadji via the final review for their agency. I never got a communication from them acknowledging the safety issue or if they are making sure it is fixed before future rentals. I think they have a responsibility to make sure the apartments they rent are safe. If an accident happens, they should have communication with the tenant and landlord involved and make sure it won't happen again. I have no evidence of this happening. read more

I rented twice with this company and had the same problem twice. Nobody showed up on the check-out date. Then later they tried to charge you a cleaning fee ($50 and $150) although I cleaned the apartment. AND they simply postpone the security deposit reimbursement as much as they can. The worst customer service/agency!!! This was by far the worst experience that I've had with a rental company in my entire life. This company truly is a scam and I'm shocked that there are not more negative reviews. I've heard by dozens of locals that you should never book with this company, and frankly, I should have listened. Before booking my 3 month rental, I spoke with an agent, Neda, who guaranteed me that this was a quiet building, that my apartment had heating, and that if I have any issues my agency fees covered 24/7 support. Since moving in, I've had nothing but issues with noise from neighbors keeping me awake until 3am every night, 5 neighboring apartments getting fully renovated from 745am on every day, no heat for almost the entirety of my stay, and plumbing problems. I've sent dozens of emails to Neda and the customer support team for MONTHS, only 2 of which they even responded to. In those emails they claimed it isn't their responsibility to assist me. They said to contact the building manager. I let them know twice I was never provided his information and they never would send me it. I finally spoke to a parisattitude manager on the phone, after living here for over 2.5 months, who then says we can have you switch apartments. I leave in 10 days and that is the best they can offer? To have me pack everything up and move to another apartment for my last week after not being helpful for months?? What a joke. The apartment owners are a lovely couple who were helpful, but this agency, ParisAttitude is awful. I paid for a service they didn't provide. Instead of apologizing and taking accountability for their mistakes, or offering some kind of help or compensation, they still say it is not on them. This is no way to run a business. There are plenty of other better, more helpful and cheaper agencies in Paris. I highly recommend looking anywhere else to book. read more

I would reach out for apartment rentals only to have them not respond or reply and say the apartments were no longer available somehow. I tried working with them for several weeks and submitted 8 different apartments to rent. As I waited for them, other options grew scarce and we ended up caving to book on AirBnB at an increased cost of 40% from what we intended to spend. Terrible experience. read more

Paris Attitude made everything very easy and our agent, Mohammad was very helpful and responsive when any questions arose. I'm not sure we could have done it without them, especially during COVID. Paying rent was super easy through the Paris Attitude platform. The apartment was high quality and well located. My son loved it. I see some people posting here about not getting security deposits back, but everything went smoothly for us and we received our deposit back, minus a small fee to do some extra cleaning in the bathroom because my son could have done a better job. As noted, the security deposit is held by the landlord, and our Paris Attitude agent was present in all communications with the landlord to make sure that went smoothly as well. 0 service. Just running a website. I never saw them, they didn't care about any of our documents, just about collecting money. The owner stole our money and they accepted fake bills as proof. We rented an apartment in Rue de l'église (Neully-sur-Seine) and the owner was always around to control us. We never felt at home and we had to leave. I hope at least she could make an improvement of the apartment with our money and continue filling her pocket. To be more specific she charged us for a fuse that blows itself in the microwave (after 5 days living there), 100 more euros for a wicker basket (simply implausible), other 100 for cleaning the sheets (?), and 200 eur more for excess of heating (?). Needless to say that any of that was justified, only the microwave issue which is clearly a typical case of wear and tear. By the way,we didn't have oven/microwave during the following 3 months, some basically we paid the repair for the next tenant. Of course Paris attitude says the have pictures of all that. Pictures of what? Of the heat? Of the fuse? Who knows... What I know is that we paid agency fees and they didn't do neither care about the "état de lieu" and "état de sortie". We only saw the owner all time, as if there was no agency. It makes absolutely no difference. read more

DO NOT RENT ANY APPARTMENT WITH PARIS ATTITUDE Staying with Paris Attitude was the worst experience I have ever had renting. First, they cancelled my stay just 5 days before arriving and they didn't provide me with another solution for the same price (only paying 100€ more). Only after talking with them for a whole day I could reach a solution: I hadn't to pay more. They made the owner of the appartment reduce the price of the rental, but they I had to pay agency fees (even if it was clearly their fault). Plus during all this talking they were super rude with us and changed their word many times. After the rental, it was highly difficult to receive my deposit back (even if everything in the appartment was perfect and they admitted it from the first moment). They were postponing the return of the money from the first day and telling me it was done -except it was not. One month later, after dozens of calls and emails, I could receive my money back. They will try to get profit from you, no matter what. I'm sorry because the owner of the second appartment was a nice woman, but renting with Paris Attitude is probably one of the unsafest and most expensive ways to rent an appartment in Paris. TO SUM UP: they cancelled my stay 5 days before, tried to make me pay 100€ more and didn't return my deposit until I had insisted a lot. read more

Stay away! Very shady business! I received a quote (for 33 nights) from them that matched the price on the website. Then I asked the sales rep who sent me the quote to update it I decided to stay one less night (32 nights) and the rep increased the quote by 500 euros! The price on the website was still the same and when I asked him why once he said the system is wrong (!) another time he said that rate was for long term rental, which clearly is a lie since the first quote that he sent me was for short term rental. My Paris Attitude landlord has overcharged my deposit by hundreds of euros and illegally refused to provide evidence of his spending. I used Paris Attitudes proof of damage service at the start of my tenancy to prove the damage was there when I arrived and that still gave me no protection. I have since asked for the landlord to be removed from the site and I have received no response in weeks. I have never once had an exchange with them where I haven't had to follow up several times over weeks or months before getting a reply. Rude, unresponsive and only after your money. Where do I begin? I've lived in Paris several times and have attempted to use Paris Attitude twice but have only done so effectively once. Years ago I reached out and they eventually stopped responding so I ended up going with Lodgis. I decided to try again with them during the pandemic, they happened to have an apartment on the exact street I needed to live on, for complex pandemic related reasons. I want to be clear this is the only reason I chose to rent with them, as the Google reviews made me anxious. The apartment was discounted due to Covid, but still insanely overpriced for a building with no amenities. I've lived in Paris long enough to know that it's expensive and that you can't expect tons of amenities like you can in other large cities. But the normal price of this one-bedroom apartment was 3400 euro, I had a discount of a little over 15%. The apartment itself was beautiful, well-stocked, and well furnished. However, for that price with no cellar use, no concierge, and faulty security, it's a bit much. Additionally, when I requested to change the name on the DIGICODE system, I was asked to pay something near 200€, I decided against it, and with no concierge, this lost me many a package over the months. My rental advisor was Elhadji. Funnily he was the one who all those years ago stopped responding to me. But I am not here to write negative things about him as he did his best to be helpful most of the time. We had some unpleasant exchanges to be certain, but mostly due to my frustrations with the landlord Furthermore, the landlord, who I shall not name as she's apparently a prominent lawyer, is the absolute pinnacle of a useless landlord. Generally unwilling to help, rarely responding to emails unless it was because something needed to be done in the building for her sake as a landlord, not on behalf of the tenants. The building is not being maintained as it should (was always smelling of mildew, had a flood in the lobby that was left for over a week). Her emails were always rude or dismissive, and the two times we met in person she conveniently refused to speak to me in English regardless of the fact that we went to the same school in London (which you couldn't attend without above decent English). My upstairs neighbors were ABSOLUTELY horrible people. The absolute noisiest human beings imaginable. I have months and months of recordings and videos as proof and still, she sided with them often; likely because they apparently purchased their apartment, were typical upper-class French family (bankers apparently) vs. short term renting, American single woman with a more "unique" CV. Even after I confronted her about her preferential treatment, she denied it. And I lived for 7 months in absolute misery because of them. My career and mental health suffered because of their antics. So let's continue....there's a common chimney sweep scam in Paris. I was a victim of it and became aware that it was a scam during the fraudulent visit. I began recording the man who had entered our building somehow as I chased him out of my apartment. He ended up physically assaulting me and I caught it on video. Police were no help, unsurprisingly. I didn't send it to the landlord until after I moved out but as of now have received no recognition, no apologies, not even a receipt of the videos which I only sent for the safety of the remaining tenants and the neighborhood. My point is, you can trust Paris attitude with thousands of euro a month and still they seem to have low standards for their landlords. Since checkout, the team that does the inventory has not been in contact about my deposit, it's been nearly 3 months. I had to contact them and of course, their response was that I left the apartment in horrible condition and tons of stuff needs to be replaced. It's ironic because when I arrived in the apartment plenty of the linens and furniture had white hairs all over them, and the floor as well, not everything was spotless as they so claim. But apparently, I'm the unclean one.This woman literally wrote to me that I didn't uphold my responsibility in the way I left the apartment, but every other apartment I've lived in, Europe, US, Asia has a very thorough cleaning process between tenants and this has increased tenfold during the pandemic which is exactly why I did only surface-level cleaning. I am of course anxious about not receiving any deposit as I've seen in many of the reviews across the internet. But I WHOLLY expect to be denied any deposit simply because that entire team hates me as a tenant and has not been supportive for much of our working relationship. Avoid. read more

I have rented four apartments in Paris over the years, and my worst experience has been with ParisAttitude. They basically have no function except to run a website and collect your money. When there is a problem, they are useless. Whether you have a good experience or terrible depends completely on the apartment owner (which explains the diversity of reviews here). ParisAttitude will do nothing to help you in dealing with a bad owner other than forward email. If, despite this warning, you decide to use ParisAttitude, I at least suggest you avoid the apartment at 11 Rue Magellan or a landlord going by the name William Ramoino or Sonia Ramoino. With regard to that apartment, there were issues small, big, and huge. The owner was not there to handle check-in or check-out (a building cleaning lady gave us the key). The internet was not working on arrival and took 3 days to fix (there were two separate broken items, so this wasn't something that had just failed). We had to sacrifice our vacation time to deal with the repairman and run up our SIM card usage. The apartment was not properly cleaned beforehand, with silverfish in the bathroom when we arrived; the dishes had visible marks and had to be scrubbed before use; and when we wiped the shelves before putting clothes on them, the paper towel came away dark. There were missing basics, such as toilet paper (I am used to buying basics, but there should be a minimal amount on arrival, especially toilet paper). The oven door would not open sufficiently to use it, and the kitchen sink faucet was loose. Some lights were not working when we arrived, and were not fixed by the time we left, despite assurances that bulbs would be provided. But none of this matters as much as there was an hour of very loud noise from 3am to 4am most nights. There is a Hotel La Clef delivery backdoor next to the bedroom. The metal shutters and single pane window did nothing to stop an hour of delivery noise. From previous Paris experiences I am familiar with city noise, but this was far worse. We had to spend some nights in hotels to get a full night's sleep. The owner's attitude on all these issues was that it wasn't her problem. She was unhelpful, unapologetic, and uncivil. Her excuse for the non-working internet was that she paid her bill, ignoring the fact that this should have been checked before we arrived. My partner offered this sensible suggestion to her for the the future and her response was to accuse us of playing games. In response to our request that she help us to get the hotel to reschedule their deliveries, she said that we should have known better (my prior rentals suggest otherwise). Perhaps there is nothing that can be done about it, but she acted as if we were unreasonable for asking for help dealing with it. She even suggested we complain instead to President Macron, which gives you an idea of her attitude. She accused us of demanding a cleaning service when my partner mentioned in passing that the apartment wasn't that clean, which seems unhinged. Seven days after check-out, my deposit has not been returned, without explanation or communication of any kind, though we left the apartment as we found it. Avoid this place. Our trip was ruined; don't ruin yours. read more
