Do NOT use this agency. They will find any possible way to cheat you out of your money and provide little to no assistance after you sign your lease. My landlord has been great, but Paris Attitude is a complete scam and many would agree. DO NOT USE. My apartment was in a severe sewage flooding for 4 days to the point where many of my personal belongings were damaged and I had to be relocated for 2 months while my landlord repaired the apartment. When I emailed Paris Attitude to let them know of the flooding, not once did they offer any relocation services, ask if I was OK or needed any assistance. They are not concerned about tenants WHATSOEVER. They would not respond to emails while I was in an absolute crisis with nowhere to stay in a foreign county. Before the flooding I had extended my lease for 1 year at my apartment because I liked the place so much and my landlord was great. Paris Attitude charged me another 2080 euros as an "agency" fee to renew my lease (on top of the original contract fee of 2080 euros). After the flooding, my apartment was under construction for 2 months and given the horrible experience I had with Paris Attitude in a time of crisis, I decided I no longer felt comfortable staying and renewing my lease for the next year (5 months before my lease was so renew). They are penalizing me and making me pay the "agency" fee for the following year when they have not once responded to an email, visited the apartment or provided ANY service for the "agency" fee. Horrible rental "agency" (if you could call it that), they will figure out any way to rip you off that they can while providing no service in return. Do NOT use this company, it will save you a big headache.

BEWARE!! DEPOSITS DEDUCTED AT THE OWNERS' WHIM!! I wish I saw the other reviews regarding deposits before I rented an apartment through Paris Attitude. They deducted money from my deposit without providing any explanation. After I emailed them multiple times for an explanation and over 3 months later, they sent a bill that is suspiciously exactly 1000 euros, showing that the owner fixed some things that were already worn-out. Paris Attitude then assured me there is nothing legally wrong with this. I wish I could tell everyone to avoid Paris Attitude. This seems to be an unreliable and unethical company. EDIT: reply to Laura I am impressed by how quickly Paris Attitude replies to negative yelp comments compared to my emails. Also, Laura's reply is inaccurate and disingenuous: First, the pictures before and after did not show any noticeable difference and the form stated that the house looks sufficiently clean. The agent who checked over the apartment for over an hour said that everything was in good condition. There were some after photos that did not have corresponding before photos (advice to renters: take lots of before photos yourself). Also, as I mentioned, a single bill for repair---painting the old window sills, replacing shower seals, installing a tower rack (absolutely no justifiable reason why I should pay for this), and other charges---came out to exactly 1000 euros plus 100 tax. Then they charged me an additional 97.50 for cleaning sheets, which I had already done. I moved out on April 10th. The deposit was returned in May with deductions without any explanation. The bills were only sent to me on July 5th, after multiple inquires on my part. When I tried to refute, they provided no help, other than telling me I could contact Commission Départementale de Conciliation (CDC). There is a reason this company has horrible reviews here. [Attaching Laura's original reply on 7/6/2021 for the record]

DO PAY ATTENTION TO REVIEWS THAT TALK ABOUT NOT RECEIVING BACK THE DPOSIT! It's been 2 months since I moved out of the apartment and I am yet to see my deposit. When you sign the contract for the apartment, you are asked to pay rent and deposit on ParisAttitude website, which makes you assume that they are going to be the ones responsible for refunding deposit back to you. This is not at all the case! Your deposit is released to the landlord, who is then responsible for refunding it back to you. I have made it known to Paris Attitude that my deposit has not been returned to me and asked for assistance. They tried to contact landlord a few times to no avail. In the end, they told me to get a lawyer or file a complaint to some government organisation. To make matters worse, they refused to take down this landlord's listing from their website (see attached screenshot). NOT ONLY PARIS ATTITUDE WILL NOT HELP YOU TO GET YOUR DEPOST BACK, BUT THEY WILL ENCOURAGE YOU TO RENT AN APARTMENT FROM LANDLORDS WHO HAVE SCAMED OTHER TENANTS

We always use Paris Attitude when we stay in Paris. Barnabe Chevalier is great to work with, and everything has always gone very smoothly.

No help what so ever. You're better off risking getting scammed on craigslist than trying to work with this agency.

The apartment is extremely well maintained and equipped with everything that you could possibly need. Checking in and out was quick and easy, and the location is ideal for exploring central Paris as well as traveling to the outer areas. There are a wealth of great cafés and shops in the area - when you walk outside the door there's a most wonderful smell of fresh bread and pastries from the boulangerie down the street ! Aurelien and Giovanni were quick to respond to any inquiries or concerns I had, and it is obvious from the great accommodations and their customer relations that they care very much about providing their guests with the best experience possible while in Paris. I would not hesitate to recommend any of their properties to someone looking for a place to stay in Paris !

No AC or heat. Rental process was easy and reputable. I'd stay somewhere else in future though; sometimes it's just those little touches that make the difference and can make one overlook the things that aren't so great or may be uncontrollable.

We couldn't have been happier with the location of our apartment. We were half a block down the way from La Grande Epicerie! (We frequented this amazing market several times a day, and I wanted to cry when I realized we were leaving and I wouldn't be able to shop here again for a while) So, here's how the Clickappart booking went down: - We found a location online and selected it, then put down a down payment via credit card. I'll admit, I was kind of skeptical but went with it. Totally smooth transaction. - Literally, the night before we were supposed to arrive in Paris, we asked Irene( from Clickappart) to book us a private Taxi. We weren't going to be near our computers or phone but when we got to the airport, our taxi guy was waiting for us and didn't drive all crazy getting us to our apartment. The ride was smooth and it was a fixed price, which was nice because there was a ton of traffic. - When we got to our apartment, someone from their agency was there waiting for us to show us our place, answer any questions, and take the rest of our payment. His English was great and he was super pleasant! - When it was time to leave, Irene booked us another private cab and he was also on time. We needed him there at 6 a.m. so we were very pleased that we didn't have to try to get a cab with our poor French for that time of morning. This was very very helpful. We made some last minute requests and Irene and staff were very accommodating They had no issues with speaking English to us, and it seemed like they were very service oriented. Our place was sooo old, but clean and spacious. I was very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future. Negatives: We did get a bit cold because the only heating was the radiator and I guess I'm spoiled with our heater back home. Also, they advertised free WIFI and that basically consisted of MetroWifi which didn't always work for us even though they gave us a code to use. We do rely on the Internet for a lot of things, and this part was inconvenient.

He made sure our WiFi was working before he dashed off for his next appointment. The apartment is immaculate with everything in good working order. When I called the number on the original email, they informed me that they send an email to Expedia (which I did not book through) and had to have them send me a new email with information to get into the hotel. When we got to the room, we turned the shower on and there was no hot water. We had the water running for at least 20 minutes and there was still no hot water. In addition to the lack of hot water, the water in the shower started leaked all over the bathroom floor soaking the towels. We contacted the hotel and got no response until the next day. In addition to the lack of hot water and leaking shower, the room was disgusting. The bed has multiple different kinds of hairs all over it and a large stain on one of the sides. There was something sticky on the floor, the bathroom accessories were dirty, the toilet seat didn't match the toilet, and there was hair in the shower and on the washcloth in the bathroom. When the hotel finally responded to our complaints the next day, they switched to an automated response and did not address any of our concerns. Because of the condition of the room, we had to book another hotel in the area last minute. overall the worst place I've stayed in Paris with the worst customer service. Do NOT book this place.

This place is conveniently located near several restaurants/cafes and near the Champs-Élysées. An…read moreimportant note is that you need to complete the required paperwork, which includes a picture of your passport for tax reasons, before coming in order to get the passcodes for your apartment as there are a total of four codes and doors you need to get thru for your stay. They will also send you picture instructions to get through the building to your apartment. There is no reception desk there when you arrive and you won't see anyone for service during your stay. We ran into a couple that didn't complete this and couldn't get into their apartment; I tried to tell them that they probably didn't have a reservation then because the paperwork was not completed and that point was clearly stated on the instructions. I don't think they understood me. WS offers an unsecured free WiFi so beware of that when using their WiFi service. And it seemed to be limited in connection as we could only get two devices to connect at any time on it. The room was nice (disclosure: pictures were from when we were leaving so the beds were a bit more tidy at arrival). I have stayed in a hotel before in Paris and this apartment was by far more spacious than my last stay. The windows are opaque glass so you definitely have privacy during your stay. The place was well heated too for 50 degree November weather. There is no laundry service here so no one takes out the garbage or makes your bed for you each day. It is a true apartment living while in Paris. On our first night we had the pipe behind the toilet leak and it ran into our bathroom floor. There was an odor to the water so it must have been the pipe going out to the sewer even though the water was clear. I emailed the contact to inform WS but I think I was just lucky that Monday was the next day as I ran into their maintenance men on a quick stop back to the apartment and was able to tell them about the plumbing issue. I was also lucky that one of them spoke Portuguese and understood my Spanish. Needless to say they fixed the problem, gave me new towels to replace the ones I had to use on the floor and never had another plumbing problem the rest of my stay. I also never heard back from WS via email to check on the reported problem either.

Because of this, I feel a responsibility to warn future renters. Please make sure -- in writing -- how your rental will be classified (primary vs. secondary residence), who will be listed as the responsible "occupant," and what tax obligations you may later be held liable for. I strongly recommend having a legal or tax professional review his contract. If we had known what we know now, we would have looked elsewhere. During my stay, Andy was responsive, but key information was never disclosed. The apartment was treated as a secondary residence without my knowledge, which later resulted in me being charged the French residence tax (Taxe d'Habitation) almost a year after moving out. Rent payments were also routed outside French banking channels, creating further issues with documentation and tax authorities. These practices created major, unexpected financial and legal consequences for me. I urge renters to be extremely cautious -- or consider looking elsewhere.
