Back then, the packaging was simple plastic nothing special , but the formula? Amazing. One pump was enough, super moisturizing, and it actually lasted. Now they've upgraded to glass packaging, which looks nicer and probably feels more "premium." But the formula has completely changed... and not in a good way. It's much more liquid, less rich, and even after 3-4 pumps, my hands still feel dry. On top of that, the price has gone up. Honestly, I would take the old plastic packaging back any day if it meant getting the original quality again.

We were greeted with some hot tea as soon as we entered the store. I love the essential oils that all products contain. Their fragrances are great, especially if you like oriental scents. Great gifts for him and her, free gift wrap is offered as well. Samplers are available for every single item, so you get to sniff and rub before you buy. One star deduction for the fact that products contain chemicals. I always prefer natural and cruelty free.

I actually went through several brand testers and did two trial runs with this and liked this one the best. I needed white make-up in a few days to be the character Macphisto for the upcoming U2 Innocence tour and wanted to pay tribute to a Zoo TV tour. Long story short, I needed a decent make-up that wasn't going to make me itch and the same time easy to apply. This is water based and smooth. The downfall is that it dries really fast, therefore, I had to practice all week with application. You literally have no more than 3 minutes from damp to dry to spread and get a matte finish on your skin. There were moments in which I had to start over again. The good news is that it is very light on the skin and it is the only brand in which I am not allergic to. It isn't, however, sweat proof, therefore, you will need a finishing powder. I didn't bother since the make-up would be on for no more than 3 hours nor will I actually be planning to get sweaty. The make-up is very $$$, however, it is what is used by professionals and what some in the Vancouver film industry use. I will upload a pic after the show.

So I went home to order online, and couldn't find it. I called the shop for help, got a hold of the same clerk, and she hung up on me! She said she had another call coming in. It's poor business practice to treat customers like they mean nothing to you. Next time I will try to find another store.

Went back to the store to exchange it (not return), but she insisted that I opened it (when I did not even receive it sealed myself but I didn't mind because I thought the shop is reputable) and certainly I didn't use it. Instead she and some guard in there threatened us to call the police. She said if I really want to complain, I should wait 30 days and I was just in Prague for a vacation. Clearly, they have some scheme to get rid of some products and they target tourists!

Would highly recommend!

It is not a separate store inside a store, rather, it is just a few shelves of products of Sephora brand, Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs, very limited Becca, and Huda (which I have never used). That's it! They don't even have beauty blenders. It's very busy, too small of a place for the volume of people. They have a section with mirrors for you to try on products but they're out of supplies, no tissue or Kleenex even. They were completely out by 3:00pm, didn't even have tissue paper in the back. No tester brushes were found anywhere. No disposable mascara brushes or lip applicators were available. People were applying lipsticks and mascara using the same original brush and placing it back on the shelves. Gross. I was so looking forward to this Sephora as it is the first one in Berlin and it's a huge disappointment. I'm used to the selections in the States and in France which is a night and day difference with this poor excuse of a Sephora. As for the employees being knowledgeable, they need more training. No one could help with a Kat Von D product I had a question on. The white concealer looking thing, I wanted to purchase it if they could explain the correct and best way to use it but nope, none of them knew. I hope someone in management reads this review and changes a few things up: more training for staff, have enough supplies and tester products on hand, add more brands, expand the size it occupies in the Galleria.
