Iam not new to micro been in many places but only here I had received a special pre peeling made out from zinc. Equipment looks and feels well maintained Denise who took care of the whole process was very informative and gentle. After your face od being gently ,, vacuum cleaned'' you will revive a wonderful face massage followed by citrus smell hydrating gel mask. It felt like heaven! You will be let for approx 10 min so the mask can work out, later on Professional beautician will gently remove the rest with warm towels and apply cream and optimally make up. Face and complexion looks brighter and feels smoother. Totally recommend this treatment to anyone who would like to not only relax but also exfoliate sun or residual marks. 4-6 series might be the best option.

Back again...this time for a multitude of well-deserved pampering and tailoring on a day of relaxation. Katrin (the owner) was my sole companion for this voyage of beauty, skillfully translating my "please help me!" cries into German and then making prettiness happen. *eyebrow pluck *eyelash tint (where has THIS been all my life?) *manicure *pedicure *facial --------------- 130 + tip = 150 euros for the whole shebang. Shebangs! Shebangs! She looks better. The space is beautiful and tranquil, quiet and relaxing (I passed out during the facial). Katrin has a really calming presence and I felt very well cared for, like I wanted to just move in. Wouldn't that be great? Highly recommended for all of the above services. The nail stuff was a bit different than what I've had in the past (you get used to things!) but in the end, my hands/feet are smooth as butter with nice polish to match. The facial was absolutely great, relaxing and included a really nice face, shoulder, scalp massage. FANTASTIC. Schönerie was located a whole one and a half blocks away from my flat in Berlin, which made it very convenient and very dangerous for a woman with a spa habit. It was easy to make an appointment via e-mail, and next-day appointments were usually available. I had several different therapists here, and they all provided fabulous pregnancy massages that were quite relaxing for this mama-to-be. Easily my favorite spa in Berlin!

A few notes today: *The spa is located on the 6th floor of the Weinmeister Hotel (in the general area of U-bahn Weinmeisterstrasse, the M1 tram stop for Weinmeisterstrasse/Gipsstrasse when you go south and Hackescher Markt going north or Hackescher Markt S-bahn stop itself). When you enter the front door (with the "street art" on it), you have to have the staff let you into the elevator/lift area since you don't have a keycard. You just say that you have an appointment at the BeautySpa and hoped they could let you in to the elevator. I speak German, but the hotel staff speaks English very well. *Pedicure was excellent. You have your own private room and recline with cookies, tea, lemon water. Good quality color selection. Service was excellent. Cost was 55 Euro for pedicure and color. Most of their prices are online, though, so you can check those out. The woman I worked with spoke some English but we stuck to German since she feels more comfortable with that. She is Italian, so she speaks that as well. *They accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and EC-card (which is a German/European type of card). Overall, recommended.

Maybe the other treatments are better and I just had some bad luck!

The space is small but clean and welcoming. Not everyone spoke English, but my manicurist could ask me the typical questions and blessedly did not attempt small talk. Shellac/UV gel colors are a little more limited compared to what I usually see at home in NYC, but was able to find a pretty peach-toned nude after the manicurist couldn't do a milky white look. The entire session took about an hour, and I really appreciate the time she took to clean up my cuticles (my hands were a mess). It's been over a week and my nails still look great!

I had for a long time bad skin and acne and since I use Aesop products I barely ever have a pimple. I have the mandarin facial hydrating cream which is great for the winter and also and the parsley seed anti oxidant facial treatment feels wonderful after a face scrub (max once a week). For the eyes I use the parsley seed anti oxidant eye serum, which I recommend as well but this product is quite pricy though. The staff from Aesop is very friendly and takes their time to find the right products for you and they are very good English speakers or even native English speakers - for all who aren't mighty of the German language.
