The customer service is always friendly and excellent. They have been officially open for 30 years and the shopping experience just keeps getting better in here. This year is their 30 year anniversary, so definitely make sure to stop by and congratulate them.

This might be my very favourite store in Berlin, certainly très French chic. Hardly a weekend…read morepasses without me visiting Sessun. (... and A.P.C. just around the corner). The label is all about feminine silhouettes, whimsical design, and a popping colour palette. I am especially in love with the silk blouses, and the wool dresses. I really admire how they manage to create a look that is young, but not girlish. Prices are on the higher side, but fairly priced if you compare to similar labels whom are usually more expensive. The staff is super nice, and they wrap up your new treasures in such a cool way you don't really want to open them. But then again, then it almost feels like giving yourself a present when returning home. Only drawback... no mirrors in the fitting rooms.

They have a great selection of books, postcards, prints & posters, knickknacks, t-shirts, and artsy/designy things that I love. They also have espresso! The shop owner was very nice too. As tourists in Berlin, we definitely love stores that benefit local artists and businesses owners over the usual boring souvenir shops.

You can actually get an entire outfit for less than a €100...shoes and accessories included. No need to traipse all the way to H&M! Great basics, cloths you can dress up or down. Really price worthy for quality and style. Like i said they stock turnover is quick good so it's best to pop in to see what's on offer from time to time. Ohhh they also have an awards points system. When you get 5 stamps you get 5% off 10 stamps 10% off :) See it just got even better!

After reviewing their website, I was positively vibrating to come to this store. It has a lovely selection of both German & Japanese stationary/office supplies. It is a tiny little shop, and I think their website contains many more items than were available on display. This was a disappointment because there were several things I'd hoped to check out (including an incredible looking pair of scissors!) Considering the number of AMAZING schreibtish suppliers in Germany, I was frankly a little disappointed with the number of Japanese products. Yes, they are also lovely, but the shop is in Berlin... Definitely worth a stop in, but maybe look at the website afterwards so you're not disappointed.

What this shop has done is to make that symbol into icon. Meaning, this shop has so much of everything that features Amplemann, or more correctly, Ampelmännchen, that it is hard to believe. The moment you walk into this shop what you will find is a little bit of everything using this man as the main focus. It's really fun and cool. I mean, this shop really has it all: tee-shirts, cups, glasses, plates, pillows, umbrellas, you name it... Pretty much anything you can think of featuring an Amplemann they have it for sale. Plus, even, The Hoff, David Hasselhoff has visited this shop as they have his photo on the wall taken inside the shop. This is an open and airy shop and the staff is always happy to help you. So, if you want to find that really unique gift or that something-something for yourself, this is the place to go.

And.... "der Ampelmann laden" became my ultimate gift shop while we were here. How can anyone not like this wee little fellow? Everything was organized inside and they even have an espresso cafe!!
