This is now our second time coming here. We were here a couple weeks ago and then today and…read moreessentially had the same experience. Both dining experiences were essentially the same so it does not appear to be an anomaly. A couple weeks ago when we came, we sat in the large outdoor area. We sat down at the table and we were seated at least 10 minutes and server after server walked past, carrying water pitchers, walking here and there and not one offered water. I finally stopped someone to ask for water. The next thing was waiting for someone to take our order. Again, we appeared to be invisible. There were 3-4 servers just standing 15 feet away from us at what looked to be a gathering spot for the servers. They were looking around but really doing nothing. I asked my wife if she could see me, as apparently no one else could. I finally raised my hand to get someone's attention and a young lady walked over and I asked her if there was a server for our table and she said yes, it was her! She took our order and after a period of time the food came. She sat the food down and walked away and returned to her "post" and was again looking around. I raised my hand again and she came over and I asked if we get forks and spoons with our food. She went back to her post and returned back with silverware. The rest of the meal I watched and it was clear some if the servers had no idea how to service a table. No other refill of water. It was just a very odd experience. And this evening we decided to sit inside where there was a band performing. Tables were full and eventually a table opened up. It was a larger table and we were only two and the gentleman said he would seat us there but if a larger group came or another table opened up he would move us, which was fine. He partially cleaned the table and then left. Another 5-10 minutes went by and he came back by and asked if we ordered and we said no one had come to take the order. There are not so many tables in that room and there were, I believe 4 servers+. He took our order and cleaned off the rest of the table. I watched other diners trying to flag down a server to take there order, one table that had asked twice for someone to take their order. He was just shaking his head. Before iur food came we saw a table open up and we moved as it was closer to the band. There were dirty plates and glasses, and bottles on the table. Suddenly our food came and I told the guy bringing the food we had moved to just bring it to the new table. He sat it down and walked away. We tried to flag somebody down to clean the table and again seemed to be invisible. I asked the hostess to send someone and finally after about 5 minutes a young lady came to remove the items, not realizing part of the items on the table we were eating. The food in the restaurant is good, but honestly the service is horrendous. It is as if no one understands at all what the job is. As if someone put a uniform on them and didn't tell them anything about the job. We are staying in the hotel for two nights but we will not be dining here again. For the loftiness of this venue, I am truly shocked. And I am not alone...saw other diners having the same experience. I truly hope someone cares enough to look into this. If the hotel guests were not a captive audience, as a stand-alone restaurant, I don't think they would stay in business.

The restaurant is huge, great for groups and more native style than modern. Place is clean. I saw a ratatouille mouse again going outside from inside but it's an outdoor restaurant so what do you expect?! Should I be worried? We were the first to eat there for lunch as we got there once it opened. We were well attended. This is what we ordered: Complimentary- Lomi soup that is like a hot and sour soup without the sour or hot! Just looks like it. It lacked a little salt. Pakbet - pretty good Kare kare - lacked peanut butter so it was less salty. Lechon kawali - very good Liang - it lacked taro leaves and had more huge slices of ginger instead. I actually thought the ginger was meat cuz it was huge pieces! Fresh Coconut - lots of juice inside and they opened it to eat the coconut meat Four season in a pitcher Manga juice in a can There was nothing special about this place or food. Decent prices.I am always in search of an authentic Filipino restaurant but this was not my fave; good enough; 2.5 stars. [113/100]

We had to meander inside and find a place that suited our numbers. Minus 1... Taking our order took forever. And when a service staff finally appeared and started listing our order, he disappeared (we found him at another table taking orders) What was that all about? The food...meh! Nothing special. Even the presentation was just super-meh! You have been warned. Please...take you tummy somewhere else...

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The staff were rude and unaccommodating regarding our pet. We were simply asking for assistance so we could dine comfortably, but instead, we were told to eat outside and were even suggested to go to other restaurants. This was unexpected and honestly quite disheartening. On top of that, the food itself did not meet our expectations. The steak was still bloody and not cooked to a proper medium rare--it was extremely chewy and difficult to eat. Additionally, the food was already cold when it was served, which made the overall experience even worse. Overall, what should have been an enjoyable first visit turned into a very unpleasant one due to both poor service and subpar food quality.

They've managed to elevate common Cordilleran dishes without compromising its authenticity. The menu is written in Ibaloi but the description is in English. We came here for breakfast. We had the Pak-pako (River-fern salad), the kinuday jen manok , kinuday wrap chicken set and blueberry and ube cheesecake for dessert. The pakpako salad or fern salad is probably the best salad we've tasted in Baguio. The dressing is vinaigrette based I think and it is very refreshing. I was honestly surprised at how good the salad was. It can compete with the Japanese salads I so love here in Vancouver. The stir-fried chicken was very tasty, seasoned just right with a hint of smoky flavour which I loved. It comes with rice and beef soup. The beef soup is very rich reminding me of my grandma's beef soup. The chicken wrap was so good, I enjoyed making flavourful wrap with the fresh salad, chipotle sauce and stir-fry chicken. Then the desserts- ube cake was delicious but the blueberry was another surprise for us. I didn't expect to find this heavenly blueberry cheesecake in this Cordilleran resto. The blueberry is obviously not fresh since we don't grow blueberries in the Philippines but it surprisingly tasted really good. The cheesecake is a mix between the western and Japanese cheesecake in terms of texture. It was just right, not too fluffy, not too dense either. It was very cheesy with just the right amount of sweetness. We liked it so much we ordered a whole cake. Unfortunately I only tried these dishes but if you guys ever end up in Baguio, check out this resto representing my roots.

(Funny enough, we were seated in the next room we were at the last time!) The burners were good to go once seated. We didn't have to flag anyone for our drinks this time around - there were already pitchers of water posted on our tables. It hasn't changed at all. The set up is still the same. Ditto the quality of the food. Price remained at 399PHP/pp even after some time, so that's always a plus. And like everything else, the service has not changed either. They never came back to our room to clear empty plates. FOOD: 4. (I really wish they had rice paper, then it'd be PERFECT.) SERVICE: 2. Still needs work. VALUE: 4. More than fair for what they offer. PARKING: Private lot. Always packed. OVERALL: Unchanged at 3.5. It's a shame the service hasn't improved. It would have made a good up-bump on my rating. But great food at great value.
