The teachers at FBCS addressed the education of my children from a biblical perspective and prepared them well for the future. I have always believed that my number one responsibility to my children is to help them develop a relationship with the Lord and to teach them to live a life based on biblical standards. My second greatest responsibility is to prepare them for the realities of our modern economy. The days of being poorly educated and expecting to be able to raise a family is sadly over for most people and opportunities for those who aren't prepared will be even more bleak in days to come. There will always be plenty of opportunity for those prepared to take advantage of available opportunity. Our children attend a top 10 nationally rated public university. Many of their classmates from FBCS also attend the same school where they are still as close as they were in middle school, meeting many times a week and living by biblical standards, from all outward appearances. Our children were blessed to receive numerous scholarships for college. On one occasion my wife and I and our daughter attended a ceremony for recipients of one particular scholarship she received. The ceremony was held at an exclusive Palm Beach County location. We were sitting at a table with a young lady and her parents. She was attending a private school in Palm Beach County where they paid approximately four times as much as we paid for our daughter's education at FBCS. When they found out which college my daughter was attending the young lady had a sad look on her face. As it turns out it was this young ladies dream to attend the university my daughter was accepted into but she was denied entry into the school as were every one of her classmates who applied to the university My wife and I are very thankful for the assistance First Baptist Christian School has given us and our children in preparing them for the future. They continue to succeed academically but most importantly their faith is the cornerstone of their lives.

Their patient and loving approach to early childhood education has left me deeply impressed. My son has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm excited to see what his continued education at this unique school will do for him as he matures. The class sizes are small and the campus is amazingly situated in picturesque downtown Ft. Pierce. Tuition is affordable and they accept Step Up for Students as well. The headmistress Mandy Doss is attentive and seems to know every child by name. This is the kind of family environment you just won't get in public school or even larger private schools. It seems every other week there's a fun event, activity, or field trip that keeps the kids engaged and us parents involved and able to participate hands-on. We're over the moon with our SAEA experience and hope to keep our boy (and subsequent kids!) there all through grade 12. Thank you, SAEA, for making this an easy choice to be proud of!

Company: "Oh, yeah. They're a good school. We'll take you, no problem." If you have questions about trucking as a career, just call Tim Bond at SAGE. He's among a bunch of great people at the school who actually care about students. He even customized a schedule to work around MY work schedule?! Yes. Really. The program is 160 hours which should take you no more than 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your schedule. Most of it is in the seat. One on one instruction with a seasoned driver. Classroom instruction is a combination of textbook and real-world, practical advice. Class is thorough and you will get everything out of it that you put into it. Other schools make you stand in a parking lot, taking turns making maneuvers. My experience at SAGE was behind the wheel nearly 100% of the time while the instructor coached me (and only me) for hours and hours on the practice pad. The only time I was a passenger was when he was driving, physically showing me how to drive. All this explains the conversation I had at the beginning of this review. There are plenty of trucking schools to choose from, and honestly, many are cheaper. However, you get seriously more than what you pay for here. Why pay less for trash training? You want to be a professional driver? Then go to an authentic, professional school. I received several phone calls from recruiters within the first couple of weeks training. I have the luxury to take my time choosing the best company to work for, and SAGE provided me with that opportunity.
