I have had my three year old enrolled for about a month now, and the teachers and staff have been amazing with his adjustment to a real preschool. He is always so excited to go see his teachers and friends and is learning new things every day! They also have a kitchen on site where their cook makes the best meals I've ever seen a preschool serve. Knowing that he is being loved on top of getting the best care I've ever seen from a preschool makes me not worry throughout my work day! This school has exceeded my expectations! The office ladies are wonderful and organized. My oldest son previously had a teacher when we lived out of state who was harsh and made him self conscious about his work but he had the exact opposite experience here. Mrs. Chrissy was uplifting and he became much more confident. He has since graduated the VPK program. My youngest son goes there now and I love that Bible lessons are integrated into the curriculum. The teachers and helpers seem to really love their job and the children. It is a very positive environment for the kids. My kids have been going to Apple Tree Academy since 2021-2024 they've grown so much academically and behavior, wise, the teachers and staff members truly care about the children, and help them grow in every way. Kayla and Kelly both work in the front office and help me with any questions I have. I feel like my kids enjoy going to school every day and feel safe. I literally recommend this school to everyone. I know I have nothing negative to say. I can also say both my kids have had the experience of being in almost every classroom. Every single teacher is phenomenal. I wouldn't send my dying dog to this school! If you have an infant just walk in the office and listen how they tell your child to shut up and stop crying YES INFANT. An investigation is being completed on the school so I will keep it short . My child has been there a little over a year started at 3 year old room now in VPK. Yesterday kelly Dotson, took it upon herself to remove my child from enrollment due to my concern of them not expressing there was someone sick. Due to the whole staffs negligence my child is sick a over a week now. I sent the doctors note over, and my concerns, AND THEY REMOVED MY CHILD. They CAN NOT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE HER INCIDENT REPORTS FOR THE PAST YEAR. ALARMING! What's worse is my childs teacher told her a student went home with a fever, which is how I found out a sick a person. In car conversation yesterday she called my daughter a liar. My child wouldn't know that information without hearing " Diana went home with a fever" you don't tell a FOUR YEAR OLD THAT! You tell the parents someone's sick. Kelly pretends to be a doctor saying how one kids is not contagious and one is, unfortunately both are lies she is no doctor and has no idea. Kelly is uneducated, she is depressed and angry with her personal life as she'll tell you she adopted the daughter from hell. Not to mention, this PRINCIPLE ALLOWED TEACHERS STRANGER MEN AND TEACHERS BOYFRIENDS TO ENTER CLASS ROOMS TO HANGOUT, ALLOWED OTHER TEACHERS GRAND DAUGHTER TO BE A CLASSMATE I'M GUESSING WHILE IT WAS CONVENIENT THIS CHILD IS YEARS OLDER THAN MY FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD. They left my child in soiled shorts, no undies, and assumed she changed herself CAUSE SHE DID HAVE A CHANGE OF CLOTHES. But MS CINDY SAID SHE ASSUMED! So yes I picked my child up with soiled shorts and NO UNDERWEAR. I pray they shut this place down! This was the worst nightmare I've ever experienced. All because a mother was concerned for her child's health in the middle of a pandemic. I'M STILL WAITING ON THE INCIDENT REPORTS THEY DON'T HAVE... shocker!! read more

Choose another place. My son attended for a long time I love Kelly the director. However Kayla needs to be fired. She lied to an investigator multiple times and Thank God i was able to prove her stories were LIES. As i work for DCF as well. I loved my son's teacher Mrs. G she was the best. Choose another... at first I really enjoy sending my child here until I started to see them violating the policy they created to keep kids safe during Covid-19... but that's not the only reason why I give 1 star... (1st Reason) as a concern parent of a toddler I asked if they can sweep the play area prior to the babies and todlers going out - given babies and todlers like to pick up everything they see - they said on quote "we try to keep the area clean, but we have trees and sticks will fall" reading between the lines "oh well, things happen" so if my child's get hurt because you won't clean the debri is ok¿ (2nd Reason) I pick up my child one day and my child had an ugly scratch under their eye... teacher said "I am sorry, I don't know how it happened" this was 2 days after I complained about my child running around with sticks in their hand, and for a toddler running around with sticks in their hand is like running around with scissors! (3rd Reason) no sense of ethical responsibility. During this apademic they should enforce the very rule they said to all parents... via email they sent a policy stating all parents and staff will need to wear a mask, they said temperature checks will be conducted during drop off. On several occasions I pointed out how parents/teachers were not wearing a mask nor kids temperature were being taken during drop off. Even after a teacher and several kids tested possitive on Covid-19. To see this level of disregard to the safety of any child is wrong... I have more reasons I would like to share, but the 3 above are the worst... Bottom line, TRUST is key between parents and care providers. As a single parent I want to trust whoever is watching my child, I want to be at work stressed free that the daycare I choose is doing things right... if I or anyone finds a flaw I want them to take action. Responding with statements "we can't watch all children or we can't keep our eye on one child all day" is the wrong way to answer! Child care is not an easy job, I would be the first to say they are underpaid and maybe under appreciated for what they do. But this place needs new management! If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My child teacher at Apple Tree was ok in the beginning but something in my soul didn't sit right with them for a while. Me being the parent that I am, I decided to sit back and observe before jumping to conclusions. And let's just say, my intuition was right. I don't care what anyone says, these people at this facility know that they are wrong and they know that they are LIARS!!! Point, Blank, Period. No one can tell me what I experienced with them is not true or real because rather anyone believes it or not, these people know EXACTLY what they did and they know that they are LIARS. I should've listened to the Yelp reviews that I read before enrolling my child. A lot of what the people said on Yelp is very true, but nooooo I decided to go off the Google reviews. That's my fault!!! Either way, I got my child out of there because like I told them, once a liar is ALWAYS a liar. And I can't trust liars with my child. God will handle y'all on his time. read more

Ive had the privilege of having my little one attend ATA from ages 2months old for 5 years old. I am so pleased with the attention they provided my child and the safety measures taken to keep all the kids safe. Such continuity of quality care made me want to keep my guy until he was ready for Kindegarten. The VPK teacher and aid prepared my child for K. He left knowing his colors, numbers, and even addition before VPK started. They put the childrens safety and education as top priorities and I have no complaints on the 5 years he attended. I want to especially send a thank you to his VPK teacher Ms. and the director Ms. Kelly Dotts. They both were available anytime I had questions or wanted more info on his day to day activities. Pictures are sent periodically during the day to show the activities the kiddos are doing, and they invite parents to events to celebrate certain holidays, such as Muffins with Moms for mothers day and Donuts with dads for father days. I've had four kids attend Appletree in jensen beach over the last 10 years. NEVER had a bad experience. Between child #3 and #4 we didn't attend daycare for almost 2 years. When we returned this year I wasn't sure how things would be. I was excited to see Kelly Dotts was still the Director and many of the same teachers were still there. Seeing the same great long term teachers spoke volumes. Kelly remembered me and all of my kids. She was genuinely excited to see them all again when we visited. My sons current teacher taught my other 3 kids which is always special for a teacher to see a family grow and have stories about their siblings. Everyone was happy, the daycare is clean and organized. And most of all, I feel the love they have for my son. I trust them. As a business owner myself, it all starts at the top.
