Camelot rents out for parties on weekends, and from what I understand, the base fee is pretty reasonable, and you can add on from a whole menu of entertainment options. We went for a 5th birthday and it was a pretty ideal venue, with tons of space, all of it outdoors. There was a covered area with tables for food and drink and cake time, as well as a huge playground with lots of equipment. I tend to judge kid party venues by how little I have to watch my own kid, and this one was top tier, safe and confined. Well, except for the train ride, which felt kind of wild, but was also my son's favorite part of the party. I guess Camelot works with a company that brings a mini-train for parties, and the kids went nuts for it. I stood in the parking lot watching that train loop around for a full hour, swerving and doing donuts to make the children giggle and scream and occasionally break out in tears. My son rode it something like ten times. He spent the rest of the time running around the playground, with brief, emotional interludes for cake and piñata (he was absolutely terrible at picking up piñata candy, just the slowest little guy, with my genes imprisoning his whole body). We stayed for three hours, and he did not want to leave. I don't know how Camelot Kids is as a pre-school (though if you have any appetite for gossip, you will not be sorry to read this: https://www.jezebel.com/the-story-and-nightmare-emails-behind-one-elite-silver-1741632103), but we were happy to visit for an afternoon. If you're looking to host a party for small children, it's definitely worth checking out.

PLEASE AVOID KATHLEEN. READ THE OTHER RECENT NEGATIVE REVIEWS. She somehow got our last review…read moreremoved. I assume she has been doing this with a lot of reviewers. Long story, short: Kathleen should not be taking care of babies at night. I'm rewriting this review because she is putting babies in danger and this could cause harm to baby. She showed up to our house after eye surgery and could barely see and walk around our house at night time. I have camera proof that she fell asleep with our baby in her arms as well. After that, she refused to give back our deposit and took all our money. She claimed it didn't apply because the deposit was applied to the substitute. What a scam of a lady. Putting babies in danger and taking new parents money. Please do not use Kathleen for night nanny/doula services.

Kathleen was very responsive when I called initially and continued to check on us when we were in the hospital. I thought that was a good sign - but we couldn't have been more disappointed with the outcome and fired her after two nights. The first night she showed up she made fun of the way I swaddled sarcastically (yes, I'm sorry I don't know how to swaddle I just got my baby home from the hospital where nurses were doing it BECAUSE HE ALMOST DIED) and isn't it your job to teach me how to do those things? We should have sent her home then and there after that tone deaf sarcasm. We were desperate though. Even given the situation, Kathleen was far more concerned about how she would sleep comfortably and even had me looking for her glasses for her in the middle of the night because she couldn't find them. Wtf??? I've just been through the worst experience of my life and now I am caretaking you???? The second morning after she left the baby's diaper was falling off, the place was a mess including her crackers under the couch, even though we didn't have anyone else lined up we had to let her go. I was going to refrain on writing a review as she did send me an apology note and mentioned she was too old for the night jobs anymore and would be transitioning into education only (yes, 100%, should not be in charge of nighttime infant care) but for some reason I decided to look her up on here and I see she is or course taking those jobs still. I feel the need to note my experience and forewarn anyone else considering hiring her that she has the bedside manner of a screeching Tasmanian devil and to be frank my baby would probably be dead if we had hired her before the event. I'm shaking writing this because it is just that upsetting . Oh , and after finding out I was a hairdresser, on night two she was ASKING ME WHEN I COULD DO HER HAIR . ????????????????????????? Excuse me I just had major surgery, my baby almost died, I'm clearly not well and taking maternity leave as long as I can, and you are really asking me that? I also had a musical healing mantra playing in the room for my baby and she said "she wanted to blow it up". I think I've painted the picture for you- I would recommend running far away from this one. The lack of professionalism is enough, but she's also quite possibly a smoker-she smelled like febreze over cigarettes- which is a HUGE Nono around babies. This is all extremely dangerous and I really don't want anyone else to have the experience that we did.

From the start, Rebecca (Director) and Kimberly (Assistant Director) were wonderful in helping us through the transition. She began in the Peach classroom, moved to Coral, and will soon be transitioning to Lilac. Every single teacher we've met has been incredible, thoughtful, patient, and caring. I've been so impressed by the curriculum and the creativity behind the daily activities. Our daughter is thriving here. The teachers send us tons of photo updates and log each bathroom break (or diaper change), meal, and snack in real time through an app. They also take the time to chat at drop-off and pick-up about the day's activities, which makes us feel connected and involved even when we're not there. Brella's schedule is based on the hours you use rather than a monthly tuition, but you still get that valuable day-to-day consistency in the classroom. Most of her classmates attend five days a week, and she comes home every day talking excitedly about her friends. They're open almost every day of the year, the care is there when you need it, but it's also great not to have to pay for childcare when we take days off or go on vacation. We feel so lucky to have found Brella near our new home, it has truly exceeded our expectations and highly recommend it.

Our Honest Experience with Brella After 6 Months…read more After six months at Brella, and now that we've found a new daycare, I wanted to share our honest experience. Booking Brella uses an app for monthly childcare bookings, which open on the 20th at 10 a.m. For the past three months, the app has frozen during booking time, leaving my husband and me spending hours trying to secure spots for our son. Honestly, it's easier to get tickets to a Beyoncé or Taylor Swift concert than to book childcare at Brella. Dependability While Brella advertises full-time childcare flexibility, that hasn't been our experience. For the last three months, we've been waitlisted at least two days each week--for example, every Monday and Tuesday in November. After repeatedly asking in October, we were finally taken off the waitlist, but the inconsistency has been stressful. They also offer "early booking," which we requested access to, only to be told we were waitlisted for that as well. For working parents, this level of unpredictability makes Brella an unreliable option. We've had to use PTO or ask our in-laws to drive over two hours just to help cover childcare gaps. Quality and Communication Several of our favorite teachers have been let go, which was disappointing. Brella is also supposed to send daily photos and lesson plans, but there are days we receive no updates--or just a single photo of the back of our son's head. Overall For such a premium-priced childcare option, Brella has significant issues to address--from booking reliability to staffing and communication. While there are aspects we appreciated early on, it ultimately wasn't dependable enough for our family's needs.

I had a c-section and was really struggling to rest in the hospital, so coming here felt like such a relief. The food alone was worth it. Every single meal felt like it was made with a recovering mom in mind -- flavorful, nourishing, but not heavy or overly seasoned. Seaweed soup (a staple in Korean postpartum culture) was part of almost every meal, and I truly felt the difference it made in how I was healing. The nursing staff was incredible. There's a 24/7 rotating team, and I got to know each one of them. They cared for Hayes overnight so I could actually sleep and recover with peace of mind, helped me with breastfeeding, and even did breast massages to prevent clogged ducts. As a first-time mom who had no idea what she was doing, having that level of expert, attentive care was everything. When it was time to leave, I got genuinely emotional -- I was so grateful to each of them for taking care of us during such a tender, hard time. My husband was also able to stay some nights (we're local to LA), which made the whole experience feel less scary and more like something we were navigating together. The staff even taught us how to bathe Hayes before we left! A huge thank you to Eunice, the director, who made the whole process seamless from start to finish. If you're considering a postpartum center, I can't recommend Zette enough.

Even though it wasn't my first time, staying here again after my second delivery made me realize that it wasn't just "still good" -- it actually felt even better than before. That's why I wanted to write this review from the perspective of a second-time mom. With my first baby, everything was new and overwhelming, and the time passed in a blur. With my second, I was able to compare, stay calmer, and really take in the experience. Because of that, I noticed the people, the system, and the overall atmosphere much more clearly -- and my trust in this care center grew even stronger. The first person I want to thank is the director. There are more administrative tasks and paperwork after childbirth than you might expect, and even though this was my second delivery, she never assumed I already knew everything. She carefully walked me through each step, clearly explaining what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. Rather than being less attentive, she was actually even more thorough than during my first stay, which I truly appreciated. Thanks to her, I was able to focus entirely on my recovery without worrying about administrative details. I was satisfied with the meals during my first stay, but during my second, I appreciated them on a deeper level. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared Korean food -- not overly seasoned, yet full of flavor. It was gentle on my body and perfect for postpartum recovery. The first time, I simply thought the food was delicious. This time, I genuinely felt, "This is why my body is recovering." The care and sincerity put into each meal were unmistakable. Most of all, what stood out the most was the trust I felt toward the newborn care staff. They were wonderful the first time as well, but with my second baby, I truly felt that this was a place where babies are cared for with love, not treated as a task. They paid close attention to each baby's individual temperament and condition, and they immediately shared even the smallest changes. That gave me incredible peace of mind. Even as a second-time mom with some experience, I often found myself thinking, "I'm so glad I entrusted my baby to true professionals." With my first baby, I visited the nursery frequently because of anxiety. With my second, I was able to rest comfortably and trust the process -- all thanks to the staff. I truly felt that they understood how important it is for mothers to rest in order to recover. After experiencing both postpartum periods at Zette, I can confidently say that this center truly lives up to its name. It helps mothers receive postpartum care at the right time, in the right way. This isn't just a facility with good amenities -- it's a place where people genuinely come first. That's why, regardless of time or experience, it's a place you naturally want to return to. I was satisfied after my first stay, and even more satisfied after my second. If I were to have a third baby , I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place again. As a second-time mom, I can confidently recommend this center to anyone looking for a place where they can truly rest and recover during the most important postpartum period. -- Room 207, Henry & Ella's mom P.S. Both of my deliveries were at CHA Hospital and were C-sections. My first delivery was with Dr. Sung-ho Kim, and my second with Dr. Se-il Kim. I highly recommend Dr. Se-il Kim.
