I will gladly stand in the long line for the food. Keep up the good work. May God continue to bless you.

The food is great and they give you ample portions but the environment is tense, hot, and the wait…read moreis long. You cant tell how long it will take by counting the customers waiting because several customers may have ordered several plates. In other words many come to this grille and order for very large groups. You will wait for every single plate to be prepared before you can order. None of the employees are what I would describe as 'friendly'. No one smiles and some days they are gruff and hostile. Including the owner. Customers stand around in the heat for very, very long waits and they eye each other warily. As if waiting on something to jump off. It's super weird. They give everyone uncomfortable glances and everyone stands in silence. There is NO RESTROOM. The door to the gas station is closed and the air on the inside is stale and as mentioned above super hot. Popular dishes. The rib plate is delicious. The ribs are juicy and very tender. The owner apparently is a Grille master. However the ribs are super sweet. The bake beans are delicious but they are candy sweet as well. The chicken is very good but the pieces are super large. As if they come from birds taking hormones. I've never seen wings and drumsticks as big as the ones they serve. They have to come from birds pumped with hormones I believe. The burger was good. Everything is made to order besides the porkchops, sausage and wings. In final I "may" return. I have no problem with the food but the atmosphere and quality of customer service is not good.

Stumbled across this spot actually searching on Yelp again...I love Yelp...and I knew this was…read morewhere I was eating. As pictured, there is a little bit of Detroit decor around the small restaurant. Walk in, order at the counter and wait for it to be brought to you. There is very little seating, I think I counted like 9 tables. I am a little confused as to if it is authentic to Detroit food, as I saw a big bottle of Tony Chacherie's seasoning in the kitchen which is sprinkled on the fries and probably seasoning for the burgers as well. I'm not sure. Woman was super nice, said they'd been open 9 1/2 years with her working there 9 of the years. The owner is from Detroit she told us, but the restaurant definitely lacked anything that would make me personally feel like I were in Detroit. She told us the patties were 8 ounces and for some reason I thought that was tiny, leading me to get the Willie Mack Triple Burger. The burger is indeed not tiny, but ginormous. Very tasty, hot and fresh, there is cheese on every slice and the salad is underneath all the patties. Mayo, mustard and ketchup as well. Fries were great, with Tony's seasoning of course, the burger was incredible, authentic Detroit or not it was very good. My mom got the single burger with fries and we both got drinks leading the total to $30. The drink machine was out, so the lady gave us cans of coke, and I requested sprite so she had a 2 liter of sprite??? ‍ She gave me a cup and told me I can have as many refills as I wanted as well as coke for my mom. It was weird, but the woman made the restaurant feel very homey which I really appreciated. It was a great experience, the lady was incredibly nice, the food was amazing, not sure how authentic to Detroit it is, but I like this place.

Well now...let me help some of y'all out because apparently half of Mississippi is driving right…read morepast one of the best BBQ joints around and doesn't even know it! This little place is tucked away off Lakeland Drive, down from Schlotzsky's in that little white shopping center. Blink twice and you'll miss it...and that'd be a crying shame. First things first...that Smash Burger. Son...I about slapped myself just to make sure I wasn't dreaming! I'm telling y'all right now, it's the best smash burger I've ever put in my mouth, and I ain't taking that statement back. Now let's discuss these Trashed Ribs. Sweet baby Jesus riding a smokehouse...WHOEVER came up with these deserves a parade! They are so doggone good they'll make you want to hug the pitmaster. The baked beans? Mercy! If Grandma made beans this good, half the family would've never left home. Best baked beans I've ever eaten, and that's saying something because I've been eating my way across Mississippi for a long time. Now I'll admit, I'm a mustard potato salad fella. Always have been. But even though theirs isn't my usual style, I'd eat a five-gallon bucket of it without apologizing to anybody. The brisket sandwich? Lawd have mercy! Tender enough you don't hardly need teeth. And that Brisket Philly Cheesesteak? If you order it, don't make plans afterward because you're gonna need a nap and probably a testimony. The folks working there couldn't be nicer if they tried. The waitress treats you like you've been neighbors for twenty years, keeps your drink full, and makes you feel right at home. That's the kind of Southern hospitality folks are always talking about. So quit fooling around with the same ol' drive-thrus and chain restaurants. Gas up the truck, tell your wife you're "running an errand," and head over there. Your stomach will be happier than a tick on a hound dog. Y'all can thank me later...but don't tell too many people. I'd still like to find a parking spot!
