Her prices are $$ on a scale of 1-5. The surprises come in the form of a wide array of Africa-inspired foods--built around Jollof (rice) to Omisagwe (Peanut Soup) to West African plantains to As Efo Tete (Yoruban "greens" which amusingly means "we have money still for fish")--and traditional foods grilled in the West African style. If you have never had cuisine from Central or West Africa, the content is not unlike what might happen if you crossed "southern" cuisine with Caribbean. For the adventurous, Camille's plates can be made spicy-to-order, which comes less like the Latin America "fire" created when you chomped down on a chili and in a more subtle manner (subtle but extended:) as the heat is established over time. Both items were delicious. When I go back, I want to try something from the hibachi grill. I got an Oakcliff smashburger and my son enjoyed a Dallas. We loved our burgers. You could tell they were made fresh with chunks of avocado and bacon for me! The empanadas were good if a bit small. The dough pocket could have been premade, so I'll have to try something else from that food truck. A friend and I were planning to purchase a meal plan for an extended period of time. Because of this, I wanted to ask a few questions beforehand. No one from this company ever followed up or returned my phone calls or messages, but they remained very active on their social media. Due to poor customer communication, or better yet, a lack of communication, I would not recommend them. In my opinion, it seems as though posting on social media to get their following numbers up is more important than actually corresponding with real potential customers.
