Without any…read moreexpectations, the first impression I got from this public garden was that of London's Hyde Park, which we had the pleasure of visiting a week before. It wasn't crowded on Saturday morning when we passed through. This was a soak it in moment upon seeing the serenity amid the bustling chaos during the wekeday. I marveled at the comical sculptures of Geluck's Le Chat (The Cat) as well as the older figures situated in the vicinity. Snapped a lot of photos is what I did.

Sometimes it can be difficult to find a nice bench to rest your weary feet after a long walk. This park fits the bill. Love the fountain, very relaxing. Nice try coverage for shade and plenty of open space. Just a nice spot.

Unfortunately it ended up being just that little too far, so instead we decided to head back, but it turned out that these was this awesome cathedral nearby, so we checked that out and then discovered this rather small garden on the other side of the road (near the tram stop). It is sort of one of those places that if you blink you basically miss it, and while it is small doesn't mean that it is any less impressive. Not only is the garden gorgeous, but also the fence, and the little statues atop it. A lovely little place to spend some time reflecting on the world and the things around you.
