A beautiful park close to the city center that will bring you joy and a sense of serenity! Located steps away from the Royal Palace, this park is not huge but attracts a decent crowd of tourists and joggers. The national parade route is along the park. Over the summer, there is also a big annual music festival that take places right by the park. Over the winter months, there is very little going on. But I actually like the peacefulness to it! No need to pay a special visit as you will likely stumble upon this park on your way to the royal palace, king Albert statue, the EU parliament, etc. Enjoy your time here if you do have a few minutes out of your day!

Another impressive park in the middle of Brussels. Actually this made me realise that Brussels is nowhere near as small as it appears because this place is a bit of a hike from the old city where we where staying, and it is around here that you find the Royal Palace (yep, Belgium still has a king), and a number of museums. However this is the park in the area, and it is basically your typical park - quite large, quite green, and with what looked like a circus in the middle (even though the circus wasn't operating at the time). It was a lovely place to wander through, and it isn't too far from the metro station either.

Parc Royal is a lovely park opposite of the Royal Palace in Brussels. Taking in the Royal Palace and enjoying a stroll through the Parc Royal makes for a lovely morning in Brussels. While the king and his family do not live in the Royal Palace (they live on the outskirts of Brussels), the palace and the Parc Royal make for great sightseeing and a great jumping-off point for other places in Brussels. The park has beautiful fountains, benches, and lush green spaces to relax in or even have a picnic lunch. The Park (Parc) metro stop comes up right on the outskirts of the park, so it's very easy to navigate. After you enjoy the park, walk down Rue Royal and you will find the Place Royal, a historic square in Brussels, and the wonderful Magritte Museum. Then, simply take a right down Rue Ravenstein and you will find yourself with a beautiful view of the Mont des Arts and lower Brussels. It is all so close together that you can knock off a lot of must-do Brussels sights in a short walk. Enjoy!

The park is an enjoyable place to go for a walk near the city centre. Even in winter it's nice to go to. The trees along the edge of the park have been trained to grow along canes so that they are flat and square. It's quite a cool effect and I'm sure looks even better in summer. There are numberous statues and fountains around the park, I'm not sure what of as my Belgian history isn't that great but they were interesting to look at nether less. The park also has a jogging track and notices asking you to stay off the grass.

The Brussels Park is the park surrounded by couple historical buildings, such as Place de la Nation, Place Royale and Palais de Bruxelles are really close by. It's the biggest park in the centre of Brussels ( beside Jubelpark), the park also as known as "Warandepark". The park itself isn't so big,it didn't take long to walk around the whole park. But it is great to have such as nice place for some greens and some walks. The buildings around it are the plus points. Inside the park got two fountains, one theater and some other things. In summer, this is quite a nice place to chill. But in winter, it just seem a bit naked here, very cold. For me, the park itself is just alright.

Gorgeous park situated between the Royal Palace, Palace of nations and Belgian parliament. Well kept, manicured and a welcome shade provider on a hot summer day. There is a running trail around the perimeter, talk about an amazing morning jog. Tons of architectural land marks to feast your eyes on in every direction on your stroll to and from this park.

If you need a break, wander through this large park with trails, fountains, benches, and an area with frequent live music.

It's very cozy and tight nit, with beautiful trees, grass, and concrete (but not exactly sidewalk-like) walkways. Small wooden fences line many of the paths, and every now and then you'll come across a small field or areas made of dirt and pebbles to sit down while your dog or kids play. Additionally, there is a soccer court and playground hidden inside. The park is very clean, and has dog-waste baggies available to use. If you're in the area (or not), go here!

Unfortunately, we visited on a crappy (weather-wise) day, so didn't get to fully enjoy the park. There is a large area for kids to play in but leave the dog at home if you want to go in there as no dogs are allowed. My friend told me that when the weather is nice, they will put out beach chairs for people to enjoy and normally the park is quite crowded on these days! Looking forward to returning again when there is better weather!

When got dropped off at the corner of the property and headed towards the large archway with the flag of the European Union blowing in the wind for some pictures. Parc du Cinquantenaire is home to multiple museums as well including Autoworld, Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History, and Art & History museum. This park is a special place. As someone who lives in a city like Las Vegas that doesn't really have a place like this to come to, it makes me extremely jealous. The people here seemed so happy to just be hanging out with friends and family with such beauty surrounding them it truly made me appreciate that just for a brief time, I was able to join them.
