I camped out beneath one of the awnings in the front of the building. A blonde woman came out and offered to have me come in their building. I politely declined as the rain was almost over and I didn't want to dirty up their place with my muddy fat tire ebike and soaking wet clothes, but I did want to call them out for the kind gesture. Based on that information, we chose the Renew Active Healthcare Supplement plan from UHC plan that is now costing us extra money each month. After enrolling, the studio informed us that they actually don't accept Renew Active and said there was nothing they could do. This wasn't a small misunderstanding -- it directly influenced a major financial decision. Businesses make mistakes, but when incorrect information leads a customer to spend more on a health plan, there should be accountability and a reasonable remedy. Unfortunately, we were offered none.
