After doing some research, I found the Wingdow product online and started looking into it. There's really no other products like it on the market. The product itself is fairly pricey. However from what I understand they're also very costly to make. It's made out of a heavy-duty, clear acrylic and is shaped/bent. This is a really QUALITY product, so this is where the phrase "You get what you pay for" comes to mind. I'm on a budget. And after the initial investment of a bird & all that comes with it - I needed a break. I reached out to Wingdow and was put in touch with Aleta. She helped me purchase a "factory second" - basically that during manufacturing there's a minor imperfection which means they couldn't really sell the unit at full price. This was a perfect option for me. My Wingdow Seat came yesterday and i cannot tell you how happy I am!!! It's BEAUTIFUL. My bird Teddy is soooo happy and excited! The first time i put him on it he stayed there for nearly two hours without coming down, and then went back for another hour later in the day!!! He adores it. Overall I was left with such a positive feeling about my transaction. it was such a positive interaction, a complete satisfaction with the quality of the product, as well as being down-right in-love with the product itself!! So if you are in the market for any of their products, please don't hesitate!! i don't believe there's an "actual" store-front or anything, but Yelp forces you to put in a company address. This time was very different. We were greeted by "do you have an appointment"; no hello, good morning, nothing. I had a large cage in my hand. When I explained that I had arranged with one of their staff to donate, they didn't seem to know what to do. One manager was apparently there, but he was on the phone and didn't have time for us. They finally had us put everything on the floor. After a moment of awkward silence we just left. I drove an hour to donate many supplies, but left feeling like they thought it was an intrusion. Not a very welcoming place.

The birds here are cared for remarkably well, including clean cages, daily fresh salads and monthly vet checkups. You can't just walk in here and walk out with a bird. They vet people extensively, because these animals are a lot of work and some live to age 80! Be patient with their process. It makes sense.

The rescue often will put "undesirable" birds that aren't as human social in these pens to LIVE in. Sometimes these birds may not be adopted for months and will be forced to live in these crowded dirty pens longterm. Do Better Great Lakes!!

A woman there had started asking about my Goldian Finch prior to purchasing him, Eli was very respectful and informed the woman that I was interested in the bird prior and he did not try to sell it out from under me or pressure me into purchasing it sooner. We stood in the store close to half an hour checking out different birds. Eli made us very comfortable and was very friendly/professional the whole time. Eli also tried to find a mate for my bird and was very communicative a few days later. I will be back for sure!

My baby African grey parrot died within two months. I contacted the owner, ELI, to let him know that my parrot died and it turned out that the parrot had a heart defect. The main reason I called him in the first place considering my baby had 2 siblings and I didn't want anyone to ever go through that excruciating heartbreak that I did. I wasn't expecting money back due to the contract I signed. The owner actually said he felt so bad that he would be willing to sell me the next baby for half the price he gets them which by the way is only $1,500 (ELI THE CON MAN SELLS THEM for $8,000) I waited and waited and contacted him multiple times. He lied through his teeth every time promising me a baby parrot and never followed through. I have severe depression and bought this parrot as a companion and ended up with it dying in my arms. I held out on a bad review in hopes that I would receive a baby but never did so with that being said do not trust the owner or buy your bird from here. Go somewhere better. He help us set up everything in most efficient and affordable way. 1 small neon tetra died first night. Came back for more a week later and they were out. Met a different guy who was shocked by the fish the first one sold me, actually tried to gaslight me that I was wrong about fish type, like come on you think I didn't research and photograph/video my new fish? He said one should have not been sold to me bc it can be reckless and dangerous to others and would grow 6 inches! He's been fine but we will see ha. Anyways we bought 4 others different breed (purple harlequins) also supposed to be good w betta. Unfortunately all 4 died within a few days. So far original 3 are doing well. Will go back for more neon tetras when they get more.
