On our travels on our Tauck tour we stopped for lunch at Parador de Ribadeo which is located at the mouth of the Eo River. We were told that this location is a marine and tourist enclave on the border of the Asturian coast. Seemed like a great location for a hotel with wonderful views.
The Ribadeo Parador restaurant is noted for the dishes of Galiza but on their menu they do have other international food. Although they were known for "empanada" (stuffed pie),"lacon" (salted shoulder of pork), we were on a selective choice of dishes since we were a large group.
I had from the Tauck menu selection the Caldo Gallego soup and filet of hake which were both very good. It was an enjoyable lunch with very good service. read more
