We had a problem with lights and someone addressed our situation immediately (although I did make my requests in Spanish). The room we had was extremely spacious and it was very relaxing to have the cries of seagulls lull me to sleep. The beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and one of the best spreads that I have experienced while traveling. The dining room also gives a lovely view of the port. There is a great fitness area for hotel patrons as well, which includes weights, treadmills, elliptical, etc. The location is great, as it is walking distance to a lot of attractions, shops, and restaurants. You will need a taxi to get to the Renfe station, however. The only downside is the connection speed of the wireless Internet. It was extremely slow and made it impossible to accomplish any work. A cute plus: there are chuches (gummy candy) and champagne in the lobby!

Don't worry, it's safe and there's always someone there to give you your key, and it's a real key not a magnetic card. Any questions you may have, they are happy to answer. I had to borrow an iron one day, they brought it up to my room with no problem. They even let me borrow an umbrella one day as well. Everyone told us this is one of the best hotels in Ribadeo.
