He recommended St. Augustine grass, praising its lush, dense growth, drought tolerance, and suitability for handling pet urine. We chose to go with this option, but since we were unfamiliar with St. Augustine grass, we had a few follow-up questions. Robert assured us he would email us a watering and fertilization schedule. Robert and his crew handled the preparation and installation of the sod. The cleanup after the job was satisfactory. When the job was finished, I asked the same questions again. Robert advised me to water the lawn for 20 minutes every day for two weeks and promised to send over the full details once he got home. A week passed with no communication, so I texted him (his preferred method of contact) with the same questions. Another week went by without a response. I called and left a voicemail, only to receive a text saying he'd send the information soon. Two more weeks passed, and I still hadn't heard back. To me, the job wasn't truly complete until my questions were answered. I was disappointed that such basic inquiries couldn't be addressed on the spot. He recommended St. Augustine grass in the front and backyard. The grass is lush, dense, drought tolerant, and rabbit resistance. Robert and his team spent two days removing the old grass, leveling the yard, and installing the sod. They replaced and adjusted the sprinkler heads to give maximum coverage. Please disregard my previous review for Robert of Paradise Lawns. That review was based on installation only. Robert of Paradise Lawns installed sod for us in October of 2020. For the past five months, we have attemped to contact Robert of Paradise Lawns multiple times via phone, text and email. Our newly installed sod had a fungus problem from the beginning. Robert of Paradise Lawns has been almost completely unresponsive. When we were able to get a response, Robert of Paradise Lawns made appointments and promises to call and visit that he never followed through on. Our sod is a mess.
