She was like that! Then during the massage she asked for my feedback on the pressure a couple of times and I appreciated that. I went in there with a stiff painful neck after sleeping wrong and she not only fixed that, she went above and beyond. 24 hours later my whole upper body is more mobile then it's been in forever! She got into tension I didn't even realize I was holding. I highly recommend this spa and while treating yourself to these things is never cheap, Awakenings is definitely on the more affordable side of the spectrum.

I called to let them know I wouldn't be able to make my appointment slot. I offered to come later but they said it would run past their closing time, which I totally understand. However, their days and hours are not great for folks that work 9-5, so I wasn't able to reschedule my appointment until 10/20. I then found out that the sale I'd booked under (and because of) couldn't be honored and that I wouldn't be able to get my deposit back. I guess just be mindful that even if something entirely out of your hands happens, they will keep the deposit and won't honor sale prices. I think I just might not be the target audience since I work full time and can't afford the full $185/appointment-- that's on me!

I decided to try this place after not being happy with my previous lash tech and I think it was the best decision I could've made. I've never been so happy with how my lashes come out until now. Juliana is sweet, she was very talkative from the start as if we had known each other for decades. She's professional and very clean. What I love is that she gives me the lash brush after every appointment so I know the tools aren't being reused on clients. I would recommend Juliana to anyone looking to get lashes and will continue using her for my own.
