I have been to para several times since they took over the last juice/smoothie shop at the same location. There aren't many juice shops in the metro area this is the closest one to where I live. All of the juices and smoothies have been fresh and good. The prices are a bit high and the simple strawberry banana smoothie is priced the same as the smoothies with protein honey and more expensive ingredients ($9.50). I wish that they had a few lower price point options for the less complex smoothies. The service was good the employees where fast and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and it looks like they support local business and set out cards and flyers for local events /businesses. I will definitely be back, hoping to see some new options and price adjustments in the future. read more

Food- I got the Sweet Beet Juice- it was decent. My kiddo got the strawberry, banana smoothie which was pretty good and she drank almost all of it. Service- there was only one gal working- not the friendliest in my opinion. It was busy- we were literally the only ones there and I had even said we've never had this place before. I came here a few times before writing a review. Good: Every single menu item I have tried has been amazing. They come out with new creations theyll advertise on social media every once in a while too and those are always nice . I like the smoothie bowls the best. Another thing I like is the build your own oatmeal. They'll chop up fresh fruit for ya and put it on top. I think the juice cleanse is a rip off lol. 6 juices for 50 bucks and you drink them in one day? No thanks. Also everything on the menu is extremely expensive for how small it is. The value for what you get is why the rating is only 3 stars. The owner has said sourcing is the reason why everything is so expensive but every time I see a bowl get made I don't get to keep the rest of the leftover smoothie so I think it would make sense to either offer bigger bowls to fit the leftover base, add more fruit on top... give a bit more of what doesn't cost as much for the price paid or work a deal out with a local farm for sourcing to benefit you both somehow. Or look into other sources for materials. Saying that the ingredients are too expensive doesn't make sense to me when it's fruit and when the portions are tiny. Para is a Godsend. I work in West Linn and this little juice bar is the perfect spot for a light lunch. Willamette is such a cute little community, very walker-friendly, and Para fits in perfectly on the strip of perfect little businesses. I frequently pick up juices and smoothies, but I'm becoming a fan of their bowls as well. I've never ordered something here that wasn't delicious. The ingredients are healthy and fresh. Every employee I've encountered helps me with a kind smile on their face and they genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. I am all for supporting local small businesses, truly, but I hate when the prices are so inflated that it nearly deters business. A 16oz smoothie will cost you $9. Not exactly affordable if you're a family wanting a healthy option as a trip in for 4 will cost $36. The smoothie offerings are good but not a huge selection. I personally liked that they use coconut water in the smoothies, they have good flavor and are refreshing. I think they are a little less filling with the coconut water and wouldn't necessarily be a meal replacement. The island breeze was yummy! The store itself is small, cute and quaint and in the old willamette area with restaurants and stores nearby making it nice to pop in and walk around. read more

Super cute little juice shop. Incredibly friendly staff. They go above and beyond and are super engaging and friendly. There was a young 18 year old there with blonde short hair who really was just the sweetest to me when I walked in, very easy to talk to and I commented how mature she seemed. She took a to go order over the phone for me (my daughter was playing softball at the park down the street) and she was super accommodating. I told all the parents on my daughters softball team how cute and delicious the shop was and that they should try it out. A+ in my book! I had my usual berry bowl today and it was absolutely awful! Fartsy time since Para bought it and I will not go back! the açaí was not the same, they added oat milk and not only does the berry taste awful the toppings are stale and also not edible! I am afraid to eat it. Almost tastes rotten! im sorry to say this place is nothing like the original owner! They should have kept the same super quality ingredients. read more

I am very slow to leave a bad review. Today was my second time at Para. My first experience was great. Let's begin with the pros: it's in the heart of downtown, it's quick, and it's cute inside. Unfortunately, today's service was unacceptable in my opinion. One staff member seemed to be rushing me @3:10 pm (not too close to closing) and carried herself with attitude. I adored the power green smoothie. It was filling and felt healthy with the spinach and sweet but not too rich. I'm guessing this place replaced renew smoothies which is where I thought I was going? The employee was super nice and it was very clean and trendy. No bathrooms though. Nice outdoor seating where you can enjoy the super wide sidewalks and watch the bikes on the bike highway. A great associate Working. Accommodated my order. This place is pro freedom with not having to wear a mask. I will support that 100% the reason for the 3 is the smoothie bowl was watery with large Chunks of ice amongst it. I agree with some reviews on the pricing. $11 is steep for the sizing and required food costs for such a product. First time, ordered the PB&Chocolate Smoothie and my wife got the Green Tropicana, and we split a Berry Bowl. The smoothies were perfect texture, not watery at all, and very flavorful. The bowl good and the ingredients complemented each other well, very fresh tasting. The acai was a touch on the liquidy side, but still very good. In a day and age where many "organic smoothie" shops offer what tastes like river water with a distant echo of some ambiguous fruit flavor, Para most definitely makes a smoothie what it should be.
