I always walk pain free for a couple of weeks and that makes my quality of life better. I only wished they could be given more frequently. My only reaction is a red face from the steroids. I had two teeth pulled at the dentists see the teeth that are not there . My wild hair is not from the shots Either. That was from chemo. Dr Bohan is the best. We always check in to see how he is doing too. He needs to be healthy to take care of us. If you need a knee doctor. Call for Dr Bohan. The shots don't hurt if you relax. Think of the ocean waves. I explained my fall in detail and exactly where I hurt on my knee. He carefully examined my knee and lower leg. We discussed various options for follow up care.
