I always walk pain free for a couple of weeks and that makes my quality of life better. I only wished they could be given more frequently. My only reaction is a red face from the steroids. I had two teeth pulled at the dentists see the teeth that are not there . My wild hair is not from the shots Either. That was from chemo. Dr Bohan is the best. We always check in to see how he is doing too. He needs to be healthy to take care of us. If you need a knee doctor. Call for Dr Bohan. The shots don't hurt if you relax. Think of the ocean waves. After going to several for different reasons, and then finding Chris..He has all my trust and faith he will do what he can for me. Last year I was in a terrible auto accident where I had what they called the hangman's break in my neck. I broke c1,c2,c3,t1,t2. And a few other fractures in different locations. After going to in-house PT at Waccamaw, who also were outstanding. It was time to go back to outpatient PT. So called Chris, explained what was going on, and that I would not trust anyone else with my recovery. That I was still alive was a miracle in itself, and I trusted no one else to take care of me. I'm 72 years old, and I can say, yes I still have some aches and pains at times, and will forever. You don't break 11 bones and not have some issues. I'd like to give a special shout‑out to a few staff members who have been especially wonderful in caring for my mom: Tim and Teresa, some of her primary nurses, and her nursing assistants, Jennilyn and Amy. I also want to recognize Jasmine, who always makes sure my mom gets out, participates in activities, and enjoys what's going on around her. And there are so many others--like Nadine, Mary, Christy, Pam, and LaToshia--who each have played a role in her care in meaningful ways.
