Its short walk from the bridge and is situated in a cool, old fashioned bunker-looking type setting thats far away enough from the tourist chaos around the river Sienna walked us in and took great care of us. With a very pleasant and cheerful character, she made our meal quite a delight. Attentiveness, helpful suggestions and communication, and fun conversation really set her apart as a server during our time in the UK I got the Tower Temptation and the pork was cooked perfectly. The cheese and sauce/sausages from the stew really complimented the meat well. Fun fact: Mamuska has served the best slaw ive ever had, and im normally not a fan of cole slaw. You get a complimentary visit to their salad bar - its small and has 4 options but the slaw and carrots were simple yet somehow unmatched Despite being in the heart of London, the food here tasted authentic and this would be a place id recommend to others visiting London that want a break from classic English food! PS: their menu is hella cute (its a newspaper)

Always willing to try out new things, my friend and I ventured to Samo Swoi recently for some…read morePolish cuisine. Upon entering is a sign reading 'all friends here...welcome' which immediately puts you at ease, as do the smiling faces inside. The decor is simple but homely and reflects a traditional Polish restaurant. I'd describe most of the dishes as heart warming comfort food, great for the soul and warms the cockles on a winter's day! Classic dishes (and personal favourites of mine!) include Gulasz (Goulash), Pierogi (dumplings) and Golabek Tradjcjny (stuffed cabbage leaves with pork and rice). There may not be a great wine list here but I'd recommend trying the delicious Tyskie Polish beer!

I was so excited when we got there as the menu looked so good. We got there at 9pm and the light was on and couple of girls inside. Well as soon as we entered the premises blond girl told me in polish that she just packed up and the restaurant is closed. They didn`t even bother with us. My boyfriend was gutted. So was I. I have been informed that if they dont have many clients they close earlier. Well shame there was nothing on their website about it. On the website they claim that most of the week they are open till late. So what time is "till late"? And again I realised why I live here. Polish attitude is so wrong. (remember I am polish). J

I got a mixed veg option and my friend got the full assortment option (including meat) and we both agreed the cheese stuffed one was incredible. With the mushroom sauce as an option, we were quite pleased. My friend also got the kielbasa "snack" and it smelled delicious and she said tasted even better. There is a full stocked Polish vodka menu but we opted for a Polish raspberry spirit that was amazing and cheap! Two shots for £3.50 over rocks. The place was dead this past Saturday night which was a relief. Last time my friends and I stopped by, it was jammed and the music was deafening, so we dispiritedly left. This time, my friend and I arrived here shortly after 6pm when the bar opened. But even when we left around 9:30, it was almost empty. I would totally come back here!!
