Their website was pretty easy but I called them and spoke to a sales rep, Austin who answered all my questions and made the process seamless. The piece was located upstate but he was able to get it shipped to the Queens location within 24 hours. I got a text message once it was ready for pickup, once on location they have an area for you to park, you go into the lobby and get a copy of your invoice which you take right next door to the garage where someone hands you your piece, they even offer to put it into your car. If I ever need a piece again they'll be my first stop! I highly recommend them!

This past Saturday night/early Sunday morning, my boyfriend and I called the company to tow the car from Randall's Island to Brooklyn. Cheap Towing provided the quote of $450 and would be coming from Queens within 30 minutes. We initially thought it was expensive, but we wanted to go and accepted the quote. After the 30 minutes, we called to inquire about the ETA and the representative stated the driver was 7 minutes away. Cheap Towing stated in order to proceed with the service, my boyfriend and I needed to pay the initial $60 via Zelle for the tolls. Cheap Towing would not come unless they receive the initial installment. Therefore, the total cost would be $510. We questioned the process, highlighting these terms were not discussed earlier and that the company informed us about the initial installment only when we called to check on the status. The representative stated that the tow was waiting for the initial installment and we inquired, "The driver is waiting over the bridge until we pay the money? When were you going to contact us?! We had to call you." The representative rudely hung up the phone and ceased communication. If it was up to Cheap Towing, we would still be stranded because we have the sense to not prematurely pay via Zelle. Never using this service!!!

They were the ONLY business that were willing to pick up the car from my house, let alone same day - and came within the hour! The guy I spoke to on the phone was very nice, told me a price (which the most I have been offered based on my weeks of calling places). I panicked and had to call back as I remembered there was a specialty DVD player inside the car that had to be removed. My husband was at work and wouldn't be able to remove until later tonight. He told me don't worry, the guys who come do this all the time and they will remove it for me. He did a great job and cut all the wires very clean. In the end I got exactly what was quoted. The car was not in great shape, didn't start and was over 14 years old, but had everything that was needed. In my opinion, even if they offered me $50 I would take it, because towing a car away would cost more. I think it's common sense the price is subject to change based on the condition of the car upon arrival, which is why I'm shocked so many people used that to post a negative review. As someone who had a great experience with them, I would say to people looking to give them a call, don't let those negative reviews steer you in the wrong direction.
