His mouth was getting too crowded as his adult teeth started to come in, so we opted for an early treatment before actually getting braces (to help keep his teeth healthy as they come in). Dr. Pappas took the time to explain the issue, how long he anticipated the treatment to last, and clearly laid out the steps he would take. He also worked with our dentist to make sure his treatment plan lined up with any other work being done. Bonesteel is a family friend, so they called me back and offered me an appointment in July, I said oh I'm sorry that won't work because my insurance runs out in June. They apologized and told me it wouldn't work, so we hung up and went about our days.... Or so I thought. Fast forward to now where I'm trying to book with my new jobs insurance, and I'm told I'm blacklisted because of an appointment I didn't show up for in July. The one I said I couldn't do because my insurance wouldn't be active and I couldn't afford out of pocket. Spoke to the receptionist today and she was really nasty to me on the phone and said she "would not argue with me anymore about this" and that "there's no proof, there's only an appointment you didn't show up for" and "it was so long ago that we can't verify this", and hung up on me.
