On this particular day, it was cold and rainy. We went to sit back in the car and saw some people behind the desk. We got out again and knocked on the door. No waving to say they'll be right there, the woman who unlocked the door stood talking to someone behind the desk for an extra minute or two before opening it up. There was no apology offered or explanation why they locked the doors, the only reason I knew was I overheard someone else talking about it. It would be nice to keep your customers informed and have a professional, courteous front desk staff. You can believe that if I showed up late for the appointment they would charge me a fee. That being said, the dental assistant was very nice and explained how my son can improve his brushing and flossing.

A patient next to us got up about 25 minutes later and rescheduled their appointment because it was now 8:50 and they had yet to be seen. At 9:20 my daughter stated she needed to potty so I took her in to the potty as we were in there they started calling our names. This is after we had asked the receptionist where the bathroom was. As we walked out we stated to that same receptionist that we were in the bathroom and she replied with a very snarky well they have called your name a few times already. We got inside the dentist barely looked in my kids mouth so not much care there either. As we were leaving they asked if we wanted to reschedule to which we stated no. When asked why we told her that we had been waiting for an hour with no communication from staff. Only to be told that both 8 am hygienists had called in so they didn't have staff.

The text said I would be contacted to reschedule. Three weeks later, having not hear back from them, I contacted the office. I scheduled another appointment. I received a reminder phone message the Friday before my appointment. I traveled an hour again. When I walked into the office, I was told that my appointment was canceled. The employee told me that they weren't able to find my phone number to let me know about the cancellation ahead of time. I reminded them that my first appt. was canceled through my phone number, and I had received a reminder phone call 3 days earlier. Her response was, "Well our hygienist had an emergency. Would you like to reschedule?" Days later, I am still shocked at the total disregard for my time.
