Awful experience. Never again! After debating on whether or not I should order my wedding invitations online or ad a local store I decided that I would stay local, which would be my safest bet to get a perfect invitation free of any mistakes. Papermoon came to my head as I was flipping through a wedding magazine at my hairdresser. Anyways, my mother and mother in law came with me to Papermoon and we sat with Jeanne, the owner, and chose a beautiful invitation. Jeanne assured me that everything will be perfect and they are the "professionals." Well after giving a half down deposit I waited over 3 weeks for my invitation preview. When the preview was sent to me the date was incorrect. I told Jeanne and she said she would forward the change to the vendor. After waiting another 3 weeks my invitations came in. I went in to pay the rest of my balance and I thought wow these look great, until I looked down and saw the date was still WRONG. The poor girl that worked there had assembled 150 wrong invitations. You would of thought they would of checked the invitation before assembling, guess not. They had to reorder the invitations which took a few days to come in and I had to call them. While I was on the phone I asked "would they be ready to go out on Monday?" And all I hear in the background is "what is she talking about, she didn't even pay." The girl came back on the phone and said "well I'm not sure, did you pay?" Talk about furious. I told the girl nicely that yes I did come in and paid the $700 balance and if they were to talk about a customer they should put the customer on hold first. Boy was I mad. When all was said and done the invitations were assembled and sent out the day that I had requested and I thought ok great no more problems. Think again. My uncle from out of state calls me to tell me the number on the accommodations card was the number for Dish Network and not the Marriott. This is the number that Jeanne had given me as she assured she was a "professional." I called to tell her and I never got a call back. My mother in law called and ripped her a new one and that's when I got a call back. In her call she told me I was the one at fault and there's nothing she can do. She also told me that the $1,500 I spent on invitations was "cheap." I will never go back here again. Steer clear. She claims to be professional and make everything perfect but it's all a facade. Do them online, it's cheaper and you won't have to deal with eccentric, over talkative sales people. read more

Jeanne was amazing with everything she did for us. I'm not like most people I knew exactly what I wanted for everything. She did an amazing job with the save the dates, the envelopes with the addresses, our wedding invitations and the rsvp cards. She also made our itinerary cards (because it's a destination wedding) and also made our name/seats for the tables. She did an awesome job with everything and went above and beyond! I am so thrilled at the way everything came out. It's so nice while planning a wedding to know that you don't have to worry about certain things! The shop owner, Jeanne, did a great job with my sister's wedding invitations. Everything came in on time and looked perfect. But oh boy, make sure you have plenty of time on your hands when you visit Paper Moon. Jeanne is a talker! She blabbed on and on about herself and her life when all we wanted to do was look through the invitation books! It was annoying and unprofessional but I think she means well. I had my wedding invitations made here last year in December. I can honestly say that the staff here knows what they are doing. Not only did the owner guide me in the correct etiquette of my invitation, but one of the workers also made sure that I found something I wanted within my budget. After I read Christine from Boston's review about Jeanne at Papermoon Invitations, I had to write my own review. I couldn't agree with Christine more! Jeanne's lack of professionalism, attention to detail, disorganization is out of control. She makes you feel like everything is your fault, when in reality you are the client and are paying her for a service. I had to micro manage every single part of the invitation process- from the save the dates to the invitation printing- and even still my invitation order was printed incorrectly & had to be re-printed!! They do not get back to you in a timely manner, they do not listen, and there were mistakes on everything I reviewed. It is just not worth it to use them. You want everything to be seamless and easy & working with Jeanne is anything but that. I highly suggest seeking out other invitation places in the RI area!! read more

We just had our wedding invitations printed at Paper Moon Invitations. We ordered invitations from what was in stock at the store. They have a fair amount of choices that they can print on the premises. We were assisted by Lauren. She was a joy to work with. Lauren was patient and more than willing to reprint multiple drafts until we got to the final version. We wanted our invitation cards sealed with a wax seal. Lauren did this for us too. Even when we realized we needed one more invitation done a few days later it was an easy process to have them print out one more. I would definitely recommend this store to others. read more
