We repurposed all our flowers and rentals from our ceremony to our reception and the transitions were flawless. Her professional relationship with OceanCliff helped to ensure we were able to create an entirely new floor plan in their ballroom specific to our wedding needs and wishes. I had dozens of guests say to me, "I have never seen such beautiful flower arrangements", this happened all night and after the wedding too. They were absolutely stunning arrangements. The colors were exactly what I asked and envisioned. Amazingly, the arrangements lasted for more than week after the wedding. Toni, listens and is supported by a great team that help her bring it all to life. Ali, her assistant was very responsive to all my questions through the entire planning process. The week of the wedding I gave Toni my Grandmother's antique hat pins as my "something borrowed" to add to my bouquet. They looked so beautiful and meant a lot to me and my Grandmother who could not attend the wedding. It was a last minute detail that Toni was happy to accomodate. I found myself to be very nit-picky as our date grew closer and when I had an issue with my bridal bouquet on the morning of my wedding she dropped everything and fixed it right away. She was very organized and honest with my expectations and quotes, and respected our budget--even came up with alternative ideas (i.e., instead of a floral arch at the alter, she suggested taller stemmed plants and placed tea lights on them, which looked gorgeous and stayed within my price range). She is so sweet and definitely has an adaptable vision. I wanted baby's breath flower crowns for my flower girls but I was was worried that one of them, my 18-month-old flower girl, would rip out her flower crown--Franchesca instead made a baby's breath hair clip for her instead, which stayed the entire night! She was also very knowledgeable about my venue, the Providence Public Library, which helped me be a little bit more decisive when it came to which areas I wanted to decorate with fresh flowers (helped cut the cost for me)! Let me say that I do understand it was the day before Mother's Day but there was only 2 other customers in the store when I was there. An employee came over and asked if we had been helped yet. We told her "no, we are waiting for assistance " she went to the back and came out with another woman who asked what we needed. I told her we were there to order a bridal bouquet. The second woman told me " I don't have anyone who can talk to you, you will have to come back another day". I have never felt so unvalued as a customer from a business as I did that day. No one could take 10 minutes to ask what exactly I needed. (I know it was 10 minutes because I timed the visit to a different florist who took the time to speak to me and it took 10 minutes to choose the flowers I liked and to pay her for them.) So my experience at Gilmore's was not good in any way that day. I specifically chose Gilmore's because I want to support local businesses as much as I can, but it seemed like while they were important to me, my business was not important enough to take a few minutes to talk to me.

From the moment I spoke with Chris, I knew he was going to be the floral designer for my daughter's wedding. He returned calls, answered emails, and never left me feeling that he was in it for only my money. Out of 5 other vendors that I reached out to, Chris was the only one that checked off all of the boxes. Every other vendor I spoke with mentioned their minimum price, right off the bat, not Chris, he wanted to know what the vibe was, what flower we liked, and what we thought we wanted to spend. I thought he and his team would do great work, but he did so much more - he made the venue look magical. As my daughter and my new son-in-law knelt at the altar, I could not help but notice how beautiful the flowers he provided in the chapel were.
