I wasn't looking to spend a fortune especially because Mom wasn't one to spend big money on flowers. When I spoke to Debra , I explained I wanted a casket blanket , that Mom's favorite color was purple and how much I had to spend. Debra, Mom would have been proud. That arrangement was beyond perfect and everything she would have loved. Thank you so much from our entire family. The two different purple roses and the peonies were so beautiful. I highly recommend Songbird Florist to anyone. without question. Kathleen Camara

She was very easy to work with from start to finish, dealt with a bridesmaid color change 2 months out, and had great response time to questions and concerns. She worked from basic instructions on style and content to create beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres tailored to different wedding party members and family members. The arrangement on the wedding arch was spectacular. She transformed a camp dining hall into a magical, candle-filled celebration with beautiful floral table-runners on long rectangular seating areas. All of her accent pieces from the bars to the mantle in the dining hall to the cake were perfect. We would highly recommend using her for your event.

Michaela saves the day!…read more I worked with Michaela for my wedding just over a month ago in Newport, RI. As a control freak, I knew I wanted to plan out details with a vision in mind and hire the vendors that fit with it, but it was just as important that after so much planning I actually got to enjoy my wedding day! As a day-of coordinator Michaela started far in advance in organizing info from vendors and a timeline. She was a huge help filling in the gaps of things to consider for the ceremony and reception (like readings, toasts, dances, etc). She also helped with our walkthrough rehearsal and getting our bridal party organized right before for our ceremony (we almost forgot the rings but she luckily remembered!) on top of that she took care of tons of decor setup and breaking it down to pack up at the end of the night. Her attention to detail meant a lot to me because I had made personal artwork I wanted displayed throughout our venue. She took a big burden off our family who would have had to oversee those things even with some staff support from the venue, because there's just so much to think about! It's very hard after hours of drinking and dancing and pure excitement to remember every item. Thanks to her our wedding was a dream come true with no mishaps (except the rainy weather, but we'll take it as good luck)! Great job ;)

I have had the great pleasure of working at the Meeting House numerous times throughout the past few years, photographing weddings on the property. The venue is incredibly unique and beautiful, with its expansive green lawn great for ceremonies, lawn games, and photographs. Also the simple yet elegant exposed beam design inside the building has so much character yet leaves room for couples to add to the space to integrate their own personal style into their wedding day. The weddings I have been able to photograph here seem to all have a comfortable relaxed atmosphere as couples and their wedding guests feel immediately at home at the Meeting House. The Meeting House staff is always pleasant and eager to help both vendors navigate throughout the space as well as couples to ensure the day runs soothly and effortlessly on the newlyweds part. I am eager to work here again in the 2015 wedding season. The photography opportunities are endless with the Meeting House being surrounded by the historic village of Tiverton Four Corners and all the historic buildings and beautiful stone walls throughout the area.
