The bar is divey, and you can find very cheap drinks, especially if you go for the daily specials. The bartenders are nice - beware that they do keep your card if you keep your tab open - and seem to know the regulars. In addition to monthly bingo, they seem to host drag events, have video games and board games available to play, as well as several TVs. Plus, dogs can go inside and out. The bar does not serve food, though usually there is a vendor there. Looking forward to next month!

Compared to other comedy clubs we've visited in Charlotte, the layout just didn't feel well thought out. The highlight of the night was getting to see Flame Monroe, but overall the venue itself didn't leave a lasting impression. If you're curious, it's worth visiting once to experience it for yourself, but it's probably not a place we'll return to.

But overall, a really disappointing experience based on what we expected. And we had to hunt down the server to pay so we could get back to the conference on time.

Zero regrets. This is also a wonderful place to take friends or family visiting from out of town. My parents moved down here with me; just across the border in SC, but absolutely loved it here when I took them. Now they are part that too with a bunch of apps, wings, burgers, etc. I got my usual flight (theirs has 5 beers...wooohooo!) which consisted of a vanilla coffee blonde, a Mexican Lager, a Helles, an IPA and a hazy pale ale. All of them were really good with the hazy pale ale and the vanilla coffee blonde being my favorites. Cool art of the Wooden Robot could be found throughout the brewery. My only regret is that I didn't buy a t-shirt.
