I rarely write reviews, but this florist absolutely earned it…read more I live out of state and needed to send flowers to a friend in Denville for her birthday. One thing that was important to me was ordering from a true local florist rather than one of the large online flower brokers. After some searching, I found this shop and placed my order online. The problem was that I placed the order well after the cutoff time for same-day delivery. Shortly after ordering, Todd called me personally to explain that their driver was already out making deliveries and that it was unlikely the flowers would arrive that day. I told him I understood and mentioned that it was for my friend's birthday. That's when Todd said something I don't hear very often anymore: "You know what? I'll make sure your friend's flowers are delivered today no matter what." And he did. In a world where customer service often feels automated and impersonal, this level of care and commitment is incredibly rare. Todd went above and beyond to make sure my friend received her birthday flowers on time. To top it off, my friend sent me a photo of the arrangement, and it was absolutely beautiful. She was genuinely impressed, and so was I. Outstanding customer service, gorgeous flowers, and people who truly care about their customers. I will never use another florist in the Denville area, and I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a florist they can trust. Thank you, Todd, for making my friend's birthday extra special!

I shared the color palette I wanted, and they created something even better than I imagined. The bouquet was stunning, elegant, and looked like it should have cost two or three times more than what I paid. We had a birthday dinner for her, and I used the bouquet as the centerpiece for the table. It instantly elevated the whole setting, and everyone admired it throughout the day and evening. It truly made the celebration feel extra special. Beyond the flowers themselves, the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. Their shop is also beautifully decorated and spotless, which made the whole experience even better. I've been to many flower shops over the years and have both received and given countless arrangements, and I can honestly say this is my favorite of them all. I highly recommend this flower shop!

It's not easy for me to surprise my wife since we're basically attached at the hip, but Dickerson's…read moreFlower Shop has made it possible--twice now. Both times I gave them no notice at all, just walked in and explained I wanted to pull off an impromptu surprise. The first time, they put together a beautiful bouquet for about $20 that absolutely lit up my wife's day. Today, I decided to double the budget to $40, and the arrangement they handed me was beyond impressive--so much so that my wife had tears welling in her eyes when she saw it. I staged the reveal by sending her out to my car to "grab my phone that slid between the seats," and when she came back in with the bouquet, the reaction was priceless. I honestly can't wait to buy her flowers again. What really stands out here is how accommodating and kind the staff are, plus the value you get for the money. They make it feel easy, even when I show up last minute. I regret not leaving a review the first time, so I'm making sure to do it now. Highly recommend Dickerson's Flower Shop. Thank you for helping me pull off these surprises--I'll definitely be back again.

The order was place the morning of the service and they had it there on time for a 4:00 start. I told the woman on the phone that the flowers were for a dear tailgate friend and she found a small NYG helmet to include in the arrangement to personalize it. The price was a little steep, but what isn't nowadays. The arrangement was $176 and the helmet was $35. I was okay with the price since this was a day of order placed last minute and included delivery. We were overall very pleased with the arrangement.

I ended up buying the $75 bouquet. It was smaller than expected, so I emailed and they did reply quickly and they were very cordial. The person who replied said that for the $75 bouquet, the stems are a little longer and there may be a couple of extra flowers in there, vs. the $55 bouquet . I don't think it's worth an extra $20 for that, so I wish I had purchased the $55 bouquet. I won't order from them again because I feel like there needs to be more transparency and truth in the ordering process

Rosanna sounded very promising over the phone with my fiancé about our vision, so I was very excited to meet with her for the first time to go over details. When I arrived, she was not there. When I had texted her that I am outside her office, she sent her partner (who was a very nice guy) to show me invitation samples. Although he was her business partner, he didn't know much about invitations. Him and I spent ONE hour at the office, both being clueless while waiting for her arrival. To her defense, she had an emergency with her children, in which I totally understand. I finally met her and spent another hour going through details of the vision I had of our invitation. I left feeling mentally exhausted trying to explain to her partner my vision during the first hour and then re-clarifying it again during the second hour. I DID leave feeling that Rosanna would deliver my vision. Two weeks passed by... then three weeks passed by.... no words about quotes or any updates. So I texted Rosanna for the update and status. She said she would have a quote for me at the end of the week. .... end of the week came, still no response. I didn't want to be an annoyed customer asking for updates (although I didn't understand why I had to keep asking for an update)... and Rosanna never responded. Thank you, Rosanna... for wasting my time!!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid! Especially avoid if you're working to a deadline…read more I just wanted a simple set of one-sided black & white cards printed. The guy on the phone assured me it would be done in "two days!" and was really easy. He then put down the phone without telling me the email address, so I had to call him back and get it (their website doesn't work so no way to know it). Got an even more off-feeling as he kept repeating incorrect dimensions that I'd corrected him on, and how on google street view the shop looks totally dilapidated etc. But whatever, support local small businesses right? Well...after emailing precise instructions over, and not hearing anything back a couple of days later I called asking for the project status, and he asked me if I'd emailed him. I said yes, and he said well his designer "wasn't in the office yet". Uh...ok. Didn't hear anything back again, and waited and waited. Eventually called back a couple of days later and he said the designer's kid was "sick" and then rudely said that he would pull the project and put down the phone. Sorry to hear that (if true) but a simple notification rather than ghosting and making endless excuses would suffice. I won't be giving this place any further business.
